Can't be. Motioblur 4 doesn't exist. Very high settings uses 3, so 4 does nothing. The game accepts this, but it takes the next lower settings then. So 4 does the same as 3. You might get some improvements with 2, but I heard that's no use.

In the demo it was like this:
0 = motionblur off
1 = motionblur when you look around
2 = object blur (really dx10 only, the only feature not available in dx9!)
3 = some more effects


So choosing a value higher than 1 is useless on a dx9 system.

Yes, I waited for her to take the shields down...she tells me like "Go ahead and use your gun to take out the second shield" the whole time and it won't let me do it. I tried like everything..and loaded the game from an earlier time...and it only lets me lock on to it for the first gun and then does not for the second. wtf is going on?

I know mate, however, they could've at least glued together an outro where the team gets vaporized by a blackhole or something, would be at least a little bit better than seeing credits rolling while you're bracing yourself for the next mission.

How is the multi-player aspect?
Is it any more optimized then the shit beta with yellow textures and glitches galore?
Long term fun or pretty short lived?

Debating on grabbing this, Hellgate London, or simply saving for a rig upgrade.

Optimized no, but no more yellow shader caching during play.

For me, it's a short lived game, you'll see the graphics in awe, that will last probably a day, but then you'll see it doesn't have much more than that.

I think you will enjoy. Its a good game.

I agree the multi is pretty basic and boring.. but im not really bothered. Ive somewhat given up multiplayer gaming. Im eagerly awaiting heavily modified games and content made with the sandbox!

Seriously SpykeZ while I was playing this game I was like FUck I feel like arnold who stole the predator suit haha. Yeah definatly someone should creat a predator mod Smile and have us as the predator hunting down arnold and his friends woahaha.

MP mode like that would be awesome. Theres a mode on HALO 2 (can't remember first one) I think it was called juggernaut you had to hunt down the one guy who could cloak etc, best mode oever.

guys, is it possible to reach an "extra low" settings? i mean even lower than "low" settings in game.
my characters drifts for 10 meters when i tap once a move key...
i got amd 3400+ 2gb ram x800xt agp...i know my rig is old
i want to set the game to lowest possible setttings and keep 1024x768 (or 800x600 at last resort). paste ur cvars to achieve that please

\Crysis\Game\Config\CVarGroups

Open any of those config files and you should see what you can adjust for either improved performance or increased visuals, the top of the file is the default settings and what's used when you play in a "Very High" configuration, below that you get High, Medium and Low with low settings being at the bottom. Smile

Unsure what to suggest but there's a ton of adjustable settings if you use the games console.

I have the same problem. The game does not go further. I reloaded and killed the two fucking tanks several times and nothing. In the objetive tag it says you must find the hostage, but I found it before! she and a nanosuit mate is waiting for me to destroy the tanks. Is there another hostage in the village?

try loading an earlier save. there's no other hostage.
