not necessarily.
A lot of magazines and review sites have a vested interest in keeping their advertisers happy as it is the majority of their income. Think about it, would you have reviewed Halo at 9.5 and Timeshift at 6.5

Well I played the game for 1 hour...
It doesn't suck as much as I first thought. The game is good if you want to arcade shooter where you can not die. And if you forgive the bugs and the crappy AI it's not really bad. Basically just another brainless shooter... but I love it in some way, so I think I will finish it.

stranglehold sucked ass... this is more like freedom fighters... its really a good game, sure it could have been a lot better but its not bad at all
Too bad the guns sounds too weak
And why is my guy still moving when im not even touching my controller?

I don't base my opinion on theirs i just tend to agree with the UK ign team. Take Assassins Creed, that what one hell of a let down, but the ign team in the UK nailed that review spot on, 6.5 is all that it deserves. Judging from their arguments i think ill stay away from this game, there's so many other games that are better right now!
