No really. They deserve it. Don't believe me? Just play SoF III and you'll see why. I utterly LOVED SoF II multiplayer. I had many many hours of pleasure playing it. And Activision ... handed SoF III to ... the Activision Value morons.
It's always a bad sign when a game comes on a DVD, with only 10 files being on there: the installation files and that's it. No copy protection, no cd key, nothing.
For some reason the installer uses all of my CPU power, slowing down even Youtube.
Oh, and then the game starts! In a tiny tiny box with a 640x480 resolution Rolling Eyes The entire options screen (that includes sound settings, mouse settings, graphics settings) has 10 options more or less. Graphics options are ... the choice of resolution. Wahey. The entire menu looked like something someone made in Photoshop in 10 minutes before going out to lunch.
And then the fun starts! You get to pick weapons! f**k knows what mission you're going to so picking weapons is a bit like the lottery right? Picking a sniping rifle and then ending up in small streets where you can't see ahead for more than 10 feet ... fun.
And then the game crashed, after a whole 1 minute of playing. Which neatly sums up this crap. A disgrace - I've never EVER known a quality game to get such a half-arsed sequel. Activision Value couldn't even make a Tetris clone. If they did, the bricks would probably get stuck at the side of the screen and would refuse to turn. Really Activision: f**k YOU.

Cauldron used to make good games,chaser,Gene Troopers(I liked it,most didn't it seems...lol) and K.O.T.T. 2 were good.
I only played bit of the first level,but what I saw it's not total crap,more like totally mindless "fun" with non "next gen" GFX. I admit though,it's shouldn't be called Soldier of fortune.
oh and didn't crash for me...yet.

Oh boy what have they done to this franchise, SOF1/2 were great games. Seriously what the fuck has happened. it looks like crap plays like crap. When it takes one bullet to take some ones leg or head off something has to be wrong.
Like most here this abomination is coming off my hard drive and it will never be back not even if it was the last fps game on earth.
