Call Of Duty 4 imo - but when it comes to impressive physics, Crysis is unbeatable atm.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

I'd rather play a game where you have to think about your assault, In COD you may as well be put in a cab and driven around.

Crysis looks well and comes with great BIG maps.
But cod4 seems to have better game play and may i say looks a little bit better.
so my vote goes to cod4

crysis for ultimately reaching further than cod did and providing a 'bigger' and more epic experience...
but understand, im not saying crysis rocks, cod4 sucks or anything...
im saying crysis 9, cod 8.6 - theyre both awesome, but crysis is just ahead.

Hmm, I like both games, But COD4 was a great experience from the beginning to the end, Crysis...Well.. It's ok, but it kinda feels like a glorified techdemo. I have a modern midrange pc from 2007 and I can't really connect with the message that the Crysis producer Cervat Yerli have conveyed to the public several times regarding the game being playable on 3 year old comps, hell! It doesn't even run great on my comp! Well it is just playable if lower the gfx settings to very shitty detail level, with Cod4 I can run it fine with everything on high.
My specs: C2D E6300 (Clocked at 2Ghz) 2 Gb Ddr2 ram, Radeon 1950 Pro (512 Mb Vram), Win xp.

IMHO everyone who votes COD over Crysis is doing so because they cant manage it at a reasonable FPS on ultra High, its like nothing ever seen before, whereas COD4 is an on rails shooter with nice FPS, Crysis is a new generation of game.

Aboslutely agree with that! Crysis is one great game, it feels like much of the criticism it gets is from people that are angry that the game doesn't run well on their system and doesn't look like what they expected when looking at the screens that were posted upfront, because they have to turn down detail. Well, I remember the days when Origin released games, that only ran on hardware that was affordable 1 year later for the average person... did that make the games worse? I don't think so... Crysis is a great experience, and therefore absolutely voted #1!
COD4 was nice to play (for the 6 hours it lasted), but I don't feel like playing any of the missions a second time... the story wasn't really great either... the scripted events were nice, but that's something many games managed to do well... all in all i think it's not really special.

Well unfortunately it seems to me you havent tried the supplied multiplayer version? The singleplayer alone doesnt justify what COD4 is meant to bring to the table. The multiplayer is phernomenal and delivers a immersive experience which get you hooked right from the start!

Utter bullshit, I have the most powerful PC setup that can be purchased off the shelf and can run any current game at MAX Resolution and way prefer COD4 over Crysis or any other game for that matter... (Hated BIOSHITSHOCK)
COD4 had atmosphere, depth, great gameplay, sexy graphics and excellent audio -- The game hooks you in from the first to the last mission.
Agree, SP was too short, but for someone of my limited attention span, was juuuuust about right ...COD4 ftw!

I would like to see a Ghost Recon like game with Crysis graphics/enviroment. Leave these stupid aliens out of games.
EDIT: And CoD4 is better then Crysis so far...

If it had been Internet-competition-threads vs common-sense i d voted for the later in the hopes that people wouldnt open such poll-threads. Havent tried CoD4 yet, but i bet it s a great game too.

COD4 for me. Crysis, to me, was a prettier Far Cry, and I didn't like Far Cry too much.

I purchased COD4 for the MP and overall the game itself is well balanced in SP and MP with beautifull graphics and some of the best scripting in a game ever. But Crysis is just so fucking beautifull. And for those who say combat or whatever sucks. The combat and the way you approach a situation is never the same the second time around (kind of like bioshock). I had a great time distracting the koreans and having them group up in one spot while I pitch a grenad at there feet. Oh man speaking of grenades the sound and feel of the impact of the grenades in this game are top notch. If I had to choose between a cod4 nade and a crysis one I would have crysis blow me up anytime of the week. lol Anyway Crysis wins on the graphics and overall experience front.... COD4 wins for MP hands down.

Man... I really can't put either one over the other.
I like them both about the same. they are both truly great games in every sense of the word.
Too difficult of a decision for me.
