Whoever is running the server probably has it with Punkbuster enabled, and you either didn't install Punkbuster or you have it disabled in your config.

Hows the gameplay? Can it match the awesome hl2ep2? Or does it compare to Far Cry which imo was a total bore fest.

And how's the length? Guess it's short, since many users have already completed the game Sad

Although, as short as it was, hl2ep2 was awesome.

I'm in the beginning as of now. Length always depends on your motivation to complete it before everyone else. I only play a game for a couple hours at a time. You can really get to your objectives anyway you want, that's alwyas been cryteks thing, so you can take forever to get there or speed play.

Most important, and this is my opinion, FPS can't be long games, their just so, rinse and repeat so all you really have is a good story to rely on before people will start losing interest in playing, so maybe having a short game is good. Also helps with the replay value with harder settings cause you dont' have to play another 32 hours to get through the same levels and gameplay again.

works fine.

x2 4400+
7900GS KO
2x1024

And most settings on medium and like one thing on high and getting like 30-40FPS. nVidia is supposed to have drivers coming out to optimize them for this game.

the faces in crysis never cease to amaze me. i'd say half-life 2 got dethroned by crysis as the game with the most realistic looking and animated faces.

in some cases they look so good, I think I could barely tell the difference between game and reality.

it's hard to say. i've seen a bunch of different tests on that subject, and some came out with better performance on 64bit, while others showed lower performance in 64 bit.

maybe it depends on the hardware configuration, drivers and situation.

take a look at this...

TechARP:

Legion Hardware:

YouGamers:

All of those are credible sources, so it's just pretty damn weird.

PostPosted: Mon, 12th Nov 2007 14:19    Post subject: Crysis savegames gone
Hey guys, thanks to razor's fix I finally got Crysis to work on Vista x64 !

But .. now I'm stuck with this problem:
Last time I'd played Crysis was yesterday evening. Now I want to resume my game but I cannot load previous saved checkpoints! It also cannot find my Profile!

When I check the "My Games" folder (..\Documents\My Games\Crysis\Profiles) it still got my profile map! Also the Savegames map includes all my saved games!

Is anyone having this problem aswell? Or knows some tips how to fix this?
This is painful man!!

Get a life little boy:

1.) Your life doesnt hang on the exact release date. You get the game a week or a month later... so wtf?!!
2.) Download the warez to try the game. You like you buy... End of story...

Jesus what people do crawl on this poor internet I do get surprised over and over again.

Rather talk about the game... Do they deliver what was expected? any medium quality screenshots I would like to see... Cheers.

dont even try to buy shit, your just going to get fucked (yes im pretty fucking bitter right now... the one game i actually WANT to pay for and DO preorder, gets delayed by a week - maybe more - and gets released online almost a week early... )

fuck EA. fuck them up their stupid asses.

i cant believe im doing this, but
IM GIVING EA ANOTHER CHANCE!!
(notice how i used the colour violet, because EA are a bunch of fucking frilly shirt wearing sissys?)

started downloading crysis. those scumsucking pig fucking bastards have until the counter reaches 100% to have my copy in the mail, or i cancel my order. - currently they have 18 hours Wink

uh..nothing? Just stating that given my....cowering outdated video card I'm still getting good framerates, game is well optimized. especially after turning water on low lol

also, game supports gamepads, controls are actually quite good on default for the 360 pad and uses rumble. Shot my gun off and scared the shit out of me when my pad started vibrating like hell.

WTF some of you already beat it? Good lord.

Well, the GF went home this morning, and i have no work to do, and no social life anyways so i thought i would play Crysis until my thumbs falled off Laughing

I used to be able to play for long stretches like that back in the day, I cannot do it anymore. I guess I am getting old. It took me a month to beat Bioshock. lol

It will probably take me month to beat this game, but only after I beat Mario Galaxy. Very Happy

Me too, it takes me forever! Mario Galaxy, Nice! That is suppose to be the greatest platformer of all time.
