Runs really well on my system, was kinda suprised how well it did run.
Everything at high except Post Processing Effects at Medium, 1440x900. This is with an E6400, 2900XT and 2GB RAM, 7.9 Catalyst drivers. Everything at stock. Mostly get around 60 FPS or above, sometimes get the occassional dip down to about 30/35 FPS on the beaches but kinda rare.
Just completed first level, or assume it's the end of first level as the game went into a bordered style mode and a name appear at the bottom left. Game is seriously beautiful, although it kinda should be for how much power you need in your PC to play it well. Think the only problem I found with the first level was that there wasn't enough ammo for three quarters of it, then you found about 4 buildings with crap loads of ammo... even had to punch about 4 people to death.

I think the scene should change the way games are defined as "NUKED". This release shouldn't really be call called that because this release contains a retail virgin image. The image itself is perfect. No errors when installing or burning come up. The only thing that doesn't work is the crack for those running Vista. On the other hand if the ISO image had issues then you could call it as NUKED so people don't waste their time downloading it. People turn their heads when they see "NUKE" next to the NFO and wait for someone else to release when in fact the image is fine, it's just the crack. Crack can always be downloaded later.

scene nukes have nothing to do with people wasting their time to download.

So if the image is that perfect, can the iso be mounted in DT, use yasu and play game so crack is not even needed?

No, its not a clone image, its an iso. I wish groups like razor released clone images along with crack that way people who know how to run clones would have no problems...but I guess that's too much to ask.

It all depends on the emulation software you use and what format the image was made. But thats not the point here. The point is sometimes people are downloading and half way through find out that the release was NUKED due to a bad imaging process. So they wasted all that time downloading something that won't work at all. In the case of this release you can still download it and wait for a proper NO-DVD fix knowing that the image is perfect.

This game is a snorefest. It's pretty much Farcry all over again with zero innovation. Run across the island fighting humans, then enter the caves and fight the mutations/aliens. The suit is ok, but nothing groundbreaking. Run for 50 feet in stealth, hide behind wall to recharge suit, run another 50 feet. Repeat that 1000 times.
Admittedly, I am not a shooter on rails fan, and would never pay money for a Farcry, Crysis, or Call of Duty 4, but that being said, COD4 kicks the living hell out of Crysis for at least a one time run through the game.

Replace Crysis.exe in the 32bit folder. It allows you to play in Vista 64bit, but I doubt its running the 64bit code.

Crysis_Vista_x64_Fix-Razor1911
7.17 MB
Spoiler: | Razor 1911 proudly presents:
Crysis Vista x64 Fix
(C) Crytek/EA
Date: 2007-11-11 Game Type : Shooter
Size: 1x15MB Protection: SecuROM + Serial
Fix Notes
Heres a fix for the gambling minority of you crazy enough to use Vista, and
on top of that, to use the x64 version. The fix is an OS-dependent one and
not related to the protection in any way. Actually we played the whole game
before releasing it to make sure it was fine, although its really hard to
test every possibly configuration out there.
Unpack the .rar into your game dir and overwrite any existing files. Update
the shortcut on your desktop if you plan on running the 32-bit version.
Of course we included a crack for the x64 binary as well.
By the way, the final boss is as big as Manhattan! )
Install Notes
1. Extract RARs
2. Mount or Burn iso
3. Install
4. Use the keygen from the Razor1911 dir on the disc
5. Copy crack
6. Play and regret that you didnt save money to buy a new pc!
Razor 1911 Greetings |

i only played about 45minutes of crysis and i dont really find my self wanting to play anymore, it reminds me to much of farcry with a graphics update and a stupid suit.
cod4 was a truly enjoyable gaming experience even if it was heavily scripted and on rails its just a pitty it wasnt twice as long then maybe it would be a proper classic
