This game is simply awesome Smile

But I have a problem, I just took Al-SOMETHING to the "castle" and the old man killed him. Then I went out to do the tutorial in the courtyard. Did some fight practising, then after that, the GPS points back to the castle again, but when I'm there there's nothing? A bug or something?

What are you supposed to do after the Tutorial-part?!

are you sure you picked up your hidden blade from the table in the room where you got your sword back?

there's also 2 arrows. one always points back to the assassin stronghold, while the other points to your objective

you're supposed to go in the direction of the town where an NPC will talk to you.

It's very repetitive so far, and the combat straight up blows. I'm not impressed so far, but we'll see as I progress.

Well, my computer hasn't been restarted in a few weeks and I've been constantly running some ram intensive programs. I wonder if that was the issue. Plus, I installed Adobe CS3 Master Suite and haven't rebooted. I am burning again after a reboot. I'll let you know what happens.

just a reminder...

T-S DVD drive, iExtrem 1.1 ( I think), Pioneer 112d, Memorex (Ritek is what ImgBurn says), 2.4x

Amazing game, i´ve played for 10 hours straight today seriously, the game seems a bit short though. I´m already at the next to last "Memory Segment" and i´ve done LOT´S of sidequests which took up most of the time.

hope it gets less repetitive, done the 1st cityand all side missions, is the rest just more of the same?, rescue citizens, pickpocketing and evesdropping?...........reallly hope not because it does indeed get boring real fast, the only good thing is the cutscenes

talk about a MAJOR disappointment (call of duty 4-hours of sp gameplay), Assassin's Creed is not it.

Imagine you would be paying 60€ / 50$ per game. Would you still like short games??

No, i also preffer shorter games. esp on the xbox. i enjoyed cod4 for it's intense game play, took me 3 days to complete though, not all of us can sit for hours playing!

I have a wife to keep happy :¬) and games are very unsociable

You could always trade games when you are finished with them or rent it

Probably even longer than 40 hours to get everything done, and by that I specically mean finding all the hidden things like the flags. Spent an hour myself looking for the 20 in the starting area and only found 18.

I played this game for like 5 hours and to be honest, the battle system is bad, the difficulty is easy and the so called stealth aproach is a real joke.

In most cases i can run trough the city and knock back people but no guard is gonna get alerted, the so called intelligent NPC's who bother you while you are walking trough the city are real annoying and only bother you and no other people and on top of that they always say the same thing.
NPC's who give you a quest for intel keep talking the only line they have, so if you fuck up and have to talk to him again.. he says the exact same thing he did the first time.
The whole gameplay is a bit repetetive too.
The graphics are very nice, the first time i was saw damascus was real cool but i guess thats about it.

Yes it could have been a very good game but the fact is, its not. A lot of bugs a lot of same gameplay over and over again and all in all its not working out well enough.

I'm gonna get back to COD4 MP i guess.

do not forget that most of the bitching kids [if not all of them] get games for the price of DL disk, that's like maximum 3 euro? Embarassed

But its getting 9's and 10's with each and every review , IT CAN'T BE TRUE

I'm finding it very suspect that a large number of big titles seem to get high scores and whats more strange is its not one or two magazines / sites . Its the vast majority of them

I can't really shed any light on ac as I don't have my xbox back but I'm expecting a mediocre action game with a half decent plot , nothing more

ROFL, this kid reminds me to that southpark episode :-d

On the other hand I can understand the disapointment, this was a high anticipated game so people do expect alot from it.
IMHO this certainly ain't a bad game, but indeed it is repetitive... Walking around in Damascus an Jeruzalem gives me more the feeling I'm watching a documentary on National geographic then really playing a game.
Another bad point is that you can clearly see this game was rushed to be finished on time, their are some serious clipping issues.

That some are complaining and other are saying it's great is easely to understand, I do also have a mixed feeling playing this, GFX are great, story is good, Gameplay is soso.

While playing this you truely feel the hand ob ubisoft montreal, these people azre talented like no other company, just sorry for them they could not finish it perfectly like I image they wanted.

If I would need to give this game points it would be as follows:

GFX: 9.5/10 (comming from a guy who thinks Bioshock deserves 8.5)
Story: 8/10
Gameplay: 6.5/10

This game is becomming the Crysis of the 360, excellent for GFX whores and not really bad gameplay but it's just missing some magic. Ho well, looking forward to the next splintercell, that'll be great for certain Very Happy

Has anyone experienced any bugs with this game? when I got to Jerusalem sometimes I experience choppy gameplay. IT's very odd because I can turn a corner and it will run real smooth, then go back around the corner and it runs choppy. Almost like it's certian parts of the city. Very odd. Other than that it runs great.
