but what is there to compare? graphics? crysis is far superior. immersiveness? you cant compare based on a demo. story? your comparing a brief look to an entire game...
i can definately agree that cod is an amazing game, but you cant make any kind of realistic and reasonable comparison between the two when you havent even played one of the games.
i will say, that unless you have a monster pc, you wont get much of an enjoyable experience out of crysis though.

I really enjoyed this game, the intense action had me hooked, i really didnt stop until the game was over,i evened played a couple missions twice. My favorite were the 2 sniper missions in chernobyl, omg what an awesome game.

beat it today as well, tried some online and found out i really suck at MP cod...
single player was awesome though, so far this is IMO game of the year 2007. Lets see if crysis manages to beat it.
Anyone know what the point of the final mission and the picture with the four people at the end was? is the second person from the left supposed to be Soap?

Do you guys think there will really be an expansion out in the near future or if at all? Theres never been any expansion packs for earlier call of duty games. I hope there will be because i loved this game, i want more.

COD5 will be out in a year or two. The bad news is it will only take 12 minutes to play through.

Basically keep it pointed at the target and it should lock on...it does not do so directly, it will take 4-5 secs or so. You also need to be in an open space to fire. It should give you a warning if you are trying to fire from inside a room for example.
Keep the target in your hair cross, and it should lock on.
EDIT: Reread your post...no white reticule hey...hm mm, no idea.
Are you running the latest gracard driver there? |

For those facing this problem -
ERROR: Could not find zone 'C:\DOCUME~1\*\LOCALS~1\Temp\zone\english\code_post_gfx.ff'
Uninstall the game then install it again using the default directory and settings, dont change anything on the installation - just click typical or regular or whatever its called
then it will work

Crap!. I just searched some forums to see if other guys have similar probs...so far nothing.
No idea man.
EDIT: Did you play the demo, and did it work then (the demo mission had the Javelin as well.)

I can't aim. I have no white square which locks on a target. Wherevery i stand or go all i see trough Javelin is on that on a picture above.

Sorry to ask this but how exactly do you connect to a cracked server? I have All Seeing Eye and cant set it up to COD4 and in the game I cant enter any IP. Any help?

you dont go into the game. Open all seeing eye after you have replaced the filters file posted in comments earlier in the thread, and then add a server to favorites in ASE by right clicking in the main white box, then connect that way.

Yes this is how it should be.
Is it possible that i upload my "players" map somewhere and you try it to see if you'll have the same problem?

Wow!...I guess. I think its not that but. Sounds/looks more like a prob in the actual game code (graphic overlay) rather then something with the map etc etc.
