yaay finally finished it. I think it's the best game I've played this year. Would give it 10/10.

Okay....I'm two from two today. It's been a year and my two post back from exile are about a) the fact that I downloaded the nuked version of Gears of War - it's in Spanish. B) Call of duty won;t run....problem above. I've just found it's because you need to have the image loaded to play...DOH! Thought the fixed exe was no CD.
My bad, as you youngens say.

How do you start a cracked server? All I see is how to join a cracked server, but I want to start one. Tried hamachi, blan, etc but can't start a game in lan, and direct ip just times out.

There's a private server patch on gamecopyworld. No need for lan 
Edit: This supposedly fixes the "Connection Timed Out" problem.

btw if anyone did notice theres 2 mini levels after the credits but you have to watch the credits scrolling for around 5minutes

Hello.
I need some help. I'm at the part where i have to use javelin in order to destroy some tanks on the bridge. I pick up javelin and see green squares but the javelin doesn't lock-on target. It keeps telling me that it needs to lock-on target. But i don't see any crossairs or anything to lock-on.

Just finshed the single player (was tied up with The Witcher) and i have to say excellent game. Incredibly short but incredible production values. It honest to god plays out like a movie, gorgeous GFX, precision sound and just good old fun COD gameplay. I think i'll be replaying this over and over again like any of my fav action movies.
Gonna give the MP a try shortly and if its half as good as the SP i'll be preordering this one tomorrow. Man we PC FPS fans have been getting some real gems lately and i can see Blacksite and Crysis continuing the trend into 08.
EDIT: Are those mini-games playable if you skip the credits?

yeah i just now finished it too... pity they had to ruin the credits by playing rap music... i guess no game is completely flawless eh
mini game at the end was fun... shot the hostage... whoops nailed the terrorist on the next try though.
the ending really was epic and pretty damn shattering, right up there with one of the most heart breaking endings ever, for any medium (movies, anime, games) - i only hope hollywood doesnt ruin this epic experience with a fucking movie 
i think most of you know that im firmly in the crysis camp, a crysis fanboy even, and i think that game is going to be amazing, but i will say, so far, this game really is the best thats out this year... and i think thats a pretty good endorsement, given how pro-crysis ive been. im not saying it cant be done, but crysis definately has its work cut out for itself if its going to top this. brilliant game that i can highly recommend to anyone that isnt gay.
i think this is the first war fps thats actually held my attention all the way to the end.. i never bothered finishing airborne because it got quite shit, but this one... wow, fuck yeah.
only problem is, crysis is still a week away, and both gears of war and witcher are only 50% finished downloading... ive got nothing left to play!!!!! 
maybe ill just replay the last mission of cod4

I still have to say: Crysis will be better and UT3 will be better in mp! I hate the mp part in CoD4! Only sniper and explosive noob bitches! That's so noobish and boring...suck my dick!
And the sp part....welt it's mostly great, but all in all not better grafics than crysis and more linear....

disagree, i think crysis will be more fun multiplayer... i dunno, i just got that 'nothing new, or special' feeling from the ut3 demo... just feels like the same gameplay as the previous ut games, with prettier visuals... crysis on the other hand had addictive online gameplay.. a lot more tactical.. sure its slower paced than ut (but lets face it, what ISNT!!) but i think crysis has more rewarding and probably longer lasting multiplayer appeal... this is based on the demo, so who knows about the final, but thats just my feeling about it.

real men die when he shoots at them, god dammit!! and i must admit, i feel the same way... real gamers die when i spam in their general direction... haxing little bastards head-shot me in return, the little sods.
oh and to the dude that asked if the mini-game is available without waiting for the creds, im not sure... i know that when i do a mission select, i can select the mini-game, but perhaps thats a condition of watching to the end of the credits, and the epilogue only appears if you watch em all the way though... but i dont know... either way, if its available anywhere, it'll be mission select.
