Wow, Tescos in the UK just made a big f*%k up with their online shop.

They were selling 360 premium with Forza for £33.00. Nice.

One work mate bought two, then another bought three. His friend who I don't know just bought six!

I got in too late, page wouldn't load, so i guess they discovered it pretty quick. The products been removed now.

I think they have to if not they can be sued for false advertising. At least thats how it is here in the states. I dont know about the UK but i would definitely look into it if they refuse to give you the boxes at that price.

Yer, they will, its against the law not to sell them at the stated price... Obviously they fucked up and someone will be in trouble. But then again, Tesco's can certainly afford it.

That happened a few years ago on USair.com.... They advertised round trip tickets to anywhere in the country for $2.99..... Luckily I was on the site trying to get tickets to go home on Leave from the ARMY... Me and my friend bought them quick... They took it down like 2 minutes later and sent everyone that bought tickets an email stating that it was a misprint and that they would still honor the prices... I WAS STOKED

No one gets sued online for pricing errors, try reading the terms and conditions.

Sometimes they will honor it but just dont cry like a bitch if you get the "We're sorry.." email.

Nice. Don't expect them to be shipping those units to whoever paid £33.00 for them. Expect an e-mail stating they made a mistake, trust me they will not honor that selling those units for £33.00.

As long as they refund them it's not an issue. You don't think pricing errors are made all the time?

yeah i doubt they will get them for that price , similar thing happened last year on GAME uk's website , they was selling 360 vison cams for £2.99 me and a few mates ordered one and a few days later got the " We're Sorry" email , if its priced in the shop wrong they gotta honour it but it dont work for online shopping.

on another related note tesco have a policy in store that if you are charged wrong for the item at the till they will refund you the full price and you get to keep the item , i heard someone bought a 360 in a tesco store and they over charged him by 2p so they gave him a full refund and he got to keep the 360.

Bestbuy recently did the same thing and they retracted the price and told people that they wouldn't get them for the price listed. I'm pretty sure it's not against the law because there's probably some loop hole in the terms and conditions or some crap.

I think they will get them, tesco has a policy of honouring their mistakes, infact you used to get the item free if they made a mistake at the till

A good few million quid

or

A 50 word article on page 24 of the ragtops

Tesco rake it in but no matter how you look at it , its a buisness and losing 80% revenue of a high value popular item in the lead up to christmas would just be silly

I don't see what the problem is, they honor the price and take the losses from some poor sod's salary, thus Tesco gets to keep its face without suffering any loses.

Know of a few dozen people who got this , Some of which ordered the second it hit places like hduk and mse ....

Don't know if a few have been honoured but I find it unlikely

What gets on my nerves is the people who believe Tesco have no right to rectify there mistakes and start writing letters to consumerdirect....

It seems that the first few who got in, on a very narrow window of ten minutes or so got lucky.
