We always need a new user lockdown, but it's never happening. This forum is going to go crazy during November with all the AAA-titles being released for sure

Let new users use the seach function first. Save everybody and the mods a bit of work in the long run I think.

Practically all users never do (save for 1 outta 400). Heck, they don't even bother looking three lines down on the same page to see a topic existed even.

That is actually a good thought. Maybe restrict new people to the NFOrce section of the forum (the 4 upmost subforums) for the first 2 days or so, or to be even more harse, new users would have to be registered for 2 days before they could post. Anyway, just tossing out some suggestions for filtering out the scumbags. |

technically you can. If with files for example you mean the graphic-files that are displayed. Any browser "downloads" huge amounts of "files" just when you re looking at the website. You failed. Give back your VIP-tag now, please |

that would be like closing your cupboard, because some of your guests might smash a glass in the future...
Stuff like your example is easily dealt with by mods and they usually do a great job. And i dont really mind if i have to see some n00b or attention whore spam the shit out of a forum for the kicks of it now and then. Sometimes it s even fun and you can measure the speediness of the mods by stuff like that. |
