They are the size of ants...you are way way up patrolling a village and securing soldiers from enemy ambush untill transports come pick them up....but you see "ants" bodies flying everwhere when you hit them with a bomb

Please stay on topic. TALK ONLY ABOUT THE GAME, do not ask if "its out already", "where's the release", "when is it coming", or any other crap. No torrent talk either. Unless you want a nice ban...

he's reporting in because people won't shut the hell up about asking where the release is. This forum is to talk about games, not ask stupid questions where releases are just to annoy us.

<obligatory question on when the game will be released>

<obligatory complaint on release groups>

<obligatory stupid comment/question>

Anyway, saw the HD review on gametrailers, looks fantastic. Demo was great too.

Yes i have to say that the GT HD review was pretty sweet, still bummed out by the loss of driving vehicles, but I'm sure they'll make up for that in the long run.

So guys, which difficulty will you select first. I beat every COD on the hardest possible, and some missions were incredibly frustrating (those defending missions in COD2) but oh so satisfying once you beat them. So im thinking of going Veteran first or the second hardest difficulty because the game seems to be pretty short. But i think i'll play it several times before i get bored of it, so 2nd hardest to get assimilated with the game, and then veteran to really play.

EASY, always easy ...

What's the point to set HARD , get killed 3, 4, 10 times at the same spot, waste 1 hour to get a point u use to spend 5 minuts to win , sux and annoing ...

Because hard will actually require a bit of strategy, no longer can you rambo through the level. ON hard you will probably need to use cover a lot, flanking, and other strategies. If you run and gun on hard you will definitely die 10 times or more at the same spot, but if you play smart, take your time you wont, unless it is some cheap kill. It just a matter of taste, I like a challenge, I want the enemy to be threatening (the AI doesnt seem to be the sharpest tool) so harder difficulty setting will compensate for them being dumb.

I save strats for MP, I love it when noobs run out in the open to get popped from all directions from someone they cant see. Ill play the medium difficulty, I have no reason to play hard because Im not one to be frustrated over a game hehe.

The hard thing is not to get shot by enemies...its not getting blow up by a car that explode near where youre getting cover. 80% of my deaths were caused by those damn cars

Thats one of my problems, the 2nd would be not to be ganged up on in an area that I think Im shooting safely from. In the demo I made a mistake of jumping over the fence when I should have been patient and picked them off one by one. Long story short I died lol.

Yeah i have plenty of rambo games, so im itching for a more strategic shooter, tired of Vegas, and GRAW2 on PC was crap IMO xbox version was much, much better. i dont think COD4 will be totally strategic shooter but i know it will be fun as hell. And again, i like a challenge in a game that is fun to play so that i dont mind replaying a mission over and over again. Not a fun but incredibly hard and frustrating game (or a level) would be something like the last fight in Farcry where you got gazillion of mutants with RPGs shooting at you from every direction, while you have to jump around like an idiot, i finally said fuck it and downloaded a trainer just for that one mission.

I think it tells you something about people when they pick easy or use cheats from the start. How can you gain satisfaction from a victory when it wasn't a challenge to achieve it.

I am not pro cheating but i do play my fps games always on easy.I gain my satisfaction from my work and personal life and i prefer my games to be simply fun and not add extra pressure. So i am with that camp Twisted Evil
