Just played full version on the 360, holy shit, the first level pisses on the demo level, maybe most intense ever in a video game, superb stuff.

I just finished playing the 4th mission on my buddies 360 and, WOW! this game is insane! i can't wait for a scene release for this. I won't be buying however, unless the multiplayer is amazing.

Yup, have to agree, GoW is an overhyped console game. My money is on Crysis as well tbh.

Dun wanna get off topic but no way bioshock will get it. I mean yes it was like a 9/10 game for me but the fact it's already a fart in the wind now due to the idiot dev's not releasing the modkit people it won't so much as have a chance.
GoW, The Witcher, Orange Box, and Crysis will have the best chance. And since Crysis is so horribly over hyped I'm sure it'll get it.

Well im sure COD4 will deliver in both Single Player and Multiplayer whereas the only real competitor for that will be the orange box IMO.

The orange box is not one game... So it might get the GAMES of the year :]
As for Biosock being GOTY?? LOL Underwater doom3 with magic hans clone SSDD
I havent tried Gears of wars, so cant leave that one out... But its either COD4 or Crysis... COD has allways been linear games, so with the awsome advance in tech/gfx, I do believe its Crysis that gets the GOTY award.

In 10 days we have: CoD 4, GoW, Crysis, Kane and Lynch. Then we see summer where during three months no game is released.

Oscars 2007 will be in february 2008. How can an award be precise when they honor the best game of 2007 2-3 months before year end, and with all these titles coming?

crysis will be goty... i mean come on. visually it blows everything out of the water, in terms of gameplay its fresh and unique (wide open world, different objectives, take whatever path you want, combine with suit = options for a unique gaming style/experience) - groundbreaking in terms of environmental design... about the only thing i can maybe count against it is the story because it doesnt sound anything too deep, BUT i dont really KNOW the full story, so that could go either way.. yeah... crysis for goty, nothing else so far has grabbed my interest or felt this epic all year. no, not even bioshock.
side note... jeez, we really do have a boatload of great shit coming this month!!
