you have to use encoding software and you will have to split it to two cd's no matter what.

I'll suggest grabbing the svcd releases, converting xvid to svcd without losing too much quality isn't quite easy.

just use dvd2svcd and make sure that you have avi tick in misc settings

or buy a streaming client like JeanLuc did, this way you can play almost everything and you don't have to burn CDs or DVDs anymore.

I'm working like a sun uv a biatch with the DVD2SVCD program now....holy heck there's a lot of menu's in that proggy but i think i've got it working with converting the file.
Well....in the meantime i've gotten hold of Garfield the movie SVCD dvdrip so at least i've got that to entertain me somewhat hehe....

Erhm...ok...now i have a smaaaal problem, the TMPGEnc part of the program was not registred, i got hold of the key and now it just keeps encoding the video over and over again, what gives?.
You know anything about what is going on here Uploader?

Sounds like you have rate control mode in the encoder tab set at constant quality (CQ),
if so change this setting to 2 pass variable bitrate (VBR)

When ur burning SVCD disc than it takes the space with time(80min) not with MB(700MB),and the movie that ur trying to burn is probably larger than 80min.So, if u want to burn it ,ull need to split the movie into 2 parts(for example the movie is 100min,split it into to parts of 50min).
Then all u need is to burn it into to 2cd's.

Dont use TMPGEnc encoder with dvd2svcd try using cinema craft encoder and sorry for the late reply
