I'm gonna buy a new computer soon so I need to figure out what's the best stuff for the lowest price. Here's what I am thinking of:

Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz/ 1066FSB/ 8MB/ Box (BX80562Q6600)

loose the quad core. Its kinda overkill atm.

Also, i recommend 2x 2g instead of 4x1g modules.
Motherboard is a great choise. i have the same one.
I'm not that formiluar with Hitachi Drivers, but i prefer Western Digital. Samsung has a great new line of spinpoints which perform great.

My setup.
Intel Core2Due 6750
GIGABYTE GA- P35C
2x1gb (still using xp 32bit which can only handle 3gb instead of 4gb.
nvidia 8800gt 320mb
unknown chassis.
samsung 226bw 22"
NEC 7143 dvd burner

Well, here´s the thing..


DO IT! Very Happy
Its all good stuff, but i have no idea how those RAM-sticks are.. id personally go for either Corsair or OCZ Smile

Other than that, you dont need to change a thing Smile

And skid, you probably have a 8800GTS, since theres no 320meg 8800GT Wink

i chose this ram because it's the cheapest grinhurt
it's like many times cheaper than the others.
