Yeah, this "group" GUITAR should be tortured to death. I don't know what lameasses there are, but they stole TWO releases and just retagged those, the DDD release for PS2 and this SK release for GH3. Kill kill kill...

its not so much that.... its the fact that they stole the iso and gave no credit where credit was due

in my mind the negatives are easy to spot: lax timing, and the loading screens zip by too fast. I loved reading all the funny comments between songs, but they go by so fast now I can barely read them. Not that they are all funny anymore, but some are classic (Yes, the stage monitors are in fact diving boards)
But look at everything brought to the series:
actual master tracks (RAtM has been redeemed!)
character customization throught the roof (I LOVE the new styles options)
fun guitars that you don't have to win to unlock
online play
The songlist is epic. I play maybe 5 songs from GH2 on a regular basis. I can see myself playing ALOT more in GH3.
Maybe because I suck (actually, because I suck) I like the new more forgiving timing. I still suck, but at least the solo's dont just sound like *blip bloop clink bung*. And after playing some of the Set 7 songs in expert, I'm GLAD the timing is more relaxed because there are alot of fucked up notes they throw at you. I'm sorry the game is too easy for you true experts, and it's a shame they don't have a Hardcore expert mode (that uses the GH1 system) for you masochists. But this is a game, and games are meant to be fun and entertaining. Let me say, I have never in my life been more entertain by a game than playing GH3.

This PPF patch is for Sniperkil's usenet release as well as Guitar_Hero_III_USA_XBOX360-GUITAR
which is a repack of Sniperkil's release. The CRC of the iso file in both releases is 7F129CAD.
This patch fixes 16 sectors of bad data in the game partition at offset 0x17B3C8000.
There are no files in this area, however the bad data could serve as a marker for XBL backup detection.
This patch also changes data in the DMI and SS to match a known good rip of GH3.
