 I'm stressing out over a gay intro I have to do for this shit show.

The show is really really really gay  but it's mostly performance angst... y'know... i'm feeling like i have so little time to do it when I got couple days and i'm stressing. Not to mention the machine im using is slow so it takes time to load stuff and i'm just freaking out left right and centre... i acutally wrote this couple hours ago but i heard the render ding so i forgot to post

In my profession (making future cars) we have a lot of stupid dead lines and stress. Basically we have to out perform ourselves every time we get a new assignment (competition is very hard). My trick is to (or at least try to) do it as it would not matter, as if it was something totally meaningless and almost boring. i know it might sound stupid but sometimes it works, as you relax...that is if you really believe it...you know what I mean?. To relax is the key here, cause if you don't, you will have zits and a bad stomach + a bad production on your hands 100%!
Think gay if you have to, but do it casually

Hah, I know what you mean. That would reduce the amount of stress significantly... problem is i'm unsure how to change such a state of thought. Y'know.  Like if I don't really care about it, then yeah I can go from a to b, but if it's important it's always a... and i can't switch
So I'm stressing and I dunno... I'm drinking right now maybe I'll come up with something
I'm told they want to mimic the intro of this show the hour... but i never seen it If I was any good at photoshop I'd download a heap load of old school tv sets and photoshop them to a point where i can insert video clips for the intro and have them zoom by, but I dunno a thing about photoshop so I'm like.... arrrrgh... I gotta stop thinking BIG and gotta start thinking simple and productive... y'know  it's hard to think like that... cause you want to impress EVERYONE

One was where the dancers cancelled on me so i got an underground rapper who didn't censor his shit because he's 'not will smith'... so the show went well and all but when it came to his performance he threw in fucks and shits and all these bull shit political messages... if this was a tv based show crtc would've shut us down
But yeah as for the zombie thing... I got an actor for it and went to the local zombie walk that was here a week ago... the producers like what I did, I don't... so, that's pretty much it. It'll air in two weeks on our programmer.
I'll check out the shark... gonna download it. I downloaded the anime series... big o... it has an awesome intro. Same with cowboy bebop but that's a lot of work. Something simple and well... catchy I used templates for the bumpers...  thanks Leo.
It's basically a news program. Where we have students (us) running about fetching stories in the community and airing it to the local public. OTher students and anyone with an internet connection But like... if this is gonna go into my CV thing... I dun wanna be embarassed with the shitty intro we've got.

Today I had a a a a a... breakdown sort of thing. I come into the suite at 2... right... I just got home... it's pass midnight. Not THAT bad. But, I accomplished nothing. I had ONE girl asking me to help her with her voiceovers... so being the corny asshat that I am, I helped her. 6 rolls in. I did NOTHING. I have a date at 9. 8 Rolls in, I got nothing... me and this girl are almost finished. I call my date tell her I'll be running late. 930 rolls in. I call and cancel my date. Then I start working. I plan out a camera route in motion. Everything's going well. Looks nice. Looks spiffy. Looks sexy even. CRASH. it's 11. Took a decent hour + to map out the camera route. I relunch motion. And I grow bored of it. So, I do nothing. Like, NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING.
I smoked a pack today.
Ate NOTHING. well just now I had this rice ball my mum made.
I've no idea what to do and it's due... thursday. Well, well before thursday as thursday is when it goes lives. So, the packaging needs it ASAP. Grrrrr!
So, I'm minus a date... not really a date. I got into an argument with a girl as she kept insisting it's a date and I go it's not. I'm meeting a female friend I used to date back in the day. And she goes... it's a date... it's a date... so ... I went out for a smoke.
Like arrrgh! It's not supposed to be like this. and my project is due this week too. I dun think I edited it yet. So tomorrow i got a shit load to do!

I'm a student. And the major project this semester is a student based tc/web programme. So, basicallly we're running the show. We're the producers, directors... etc etc etc. One show a week (live), showcasing stories and shit. Stories we go out and produce. Like news type stories y'know. IT's gaay.
I'm in broadcasting & Fiilm.
Holy... I slept full 8 hours had the weirdest dream. Would've slept longer

Ahhh, ok I get it now. Well that's a really cool thang you are doing there. Break a leg and get down to it man!. You will see the creative part will come automatically with experience.
I was sort a similar when I started as a Designer 15 years ago. Used to take home work and even work week ends flat out. Now...I dont do that stuff anymore, I do the work at work, and for some reason I dont have to search that long to get a grip on a concept or a project, but as I said, comes with experience. Hang in there and I am sure you will crank it out in the end.
Actually, whats the name of your school?

Most of the time I am ok with the stuff I do, I guess I have been lucky in the way that once you have done something good, our Design Chief in Japan trust you and ask you to do more and more. And so it rolls on.
Right now I am involved in three projects, one production, one exterior concept for Japan and one concept Interior for a world car.
The production work is the most tedious as you have to really respect cost and marketing and what have you. Basically you dont have as much freedom, so you just have to do with what you have.
This type of work is the most ungratifying in the sense that its less creative and that you can not always do what you want. But that's the job, and when you realize that you relax and just get down to it. That is what I meant with experience.

You know where it is. You can watch it tomorrow at 4 Live Today we did some reherals but it got fucked. Nobody in my class gives a shit about this. Like it's a major portion of the course and everyone is slacking. Me and a couple folks stayed in after to work on the lights and the set and it's not even done. We're not responsible for it, but the peeps who are left. It's bull shit. But so far everything seems good

God. The ammount of uncredited work I put into this is not even remotely funny. I slaved weeks and week to get shit done and only 7 out of 30+ people actually give a fuck about the show. I'm pissed, eh. And everyone's slacking and their shit should've been done week ago and they're all like... they were finishing it today. the rehersal was supposed to be at 6, but everyone finished their shit at 8.
So we pushed the rehersal till 9/915 (we had to put everything on tape) and then everyone starts complaining how late it is and they want to go home. It's un-fucking-believeable. If you want to behave like you're in highschool then go back.
It's annoying. And I'm rushing people to get shit done asap so we can actually know what we'll be doing tomorrow and they're giving me attitude. WHERE THE FUCK WHERE YOU FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS! This shit, seriously, is so fucking gay! ARRRGH!
