nah your doing it wrong dude. you want max strength to take long shots.

thats whats so brilliant about this game tactics wise... max strength isnt just a gimmick, strength will steady your shot and lessen recoil.

Well i never said long shots though Rolling Eyes I pick them out with either SCAR or the pistol with silencer, pretty close behind random objects and cloak again directly after i shoot.

Man i have been playing the demo for like 5 hours today. I missed dinner so am now eating hard/cold chicken and mash potatoes!

But who cares. Such a good game. The most fun is to use cloak and stealth. I made it to the end of the demo with killing only 1 enemy. Its very hard on delta with no crosshair etc.

The story seems great so far. That boat / alien OMG. Also, one thing i noticed is that when your on th sky dive, look to the left, you can see alien craft and alien which strikes you which looks amazing.

This might be wrong, but I think strength mode increases the damage you inflict when shooting as well. I've noticed when i'm strength mode, they die a lot faster, even if i'm firing at their chest one bullet at a time, I did the same in armor mode, and took more bullets to kill him.

Might just be that I hit more in strength mode, but it feels that way every time I kill someone in strength mode compared to armor mode. o.O

I only shoot 1 in the head anyway, dies whenever
But it probably does more damage in strength mode, should anyway.

Let me niptick for a second, but have you guys noticed the shadow is still there when he goes in cloak mode? Perfect graphics leads to small imperfections being noticed more easily. Razz

The graphics are nice and gameplay is good.
Game runs oke maxed 2x AA 4x AF 1024.
Low rs is cause i use a small tft. Wink
But need to see more. This is not much more the
Farcry. And i never liked the monster setting.
I hope this game will be 90% poeple enemy's.

I am running the demo at 1920x1200 everything on High & I put the shaders & shadows to very high. Let me just say....mind blowing....I can see how its just far cry though if you play on lower settings. High settings and above is where its at.

I LOVE the demo!

And that I can run it DX9 all high except shadows, sound and physics which are set to medium at 1280x800 (16:10) with my measly Athlon64 3500+, 2Gb ddr400, X1900XT is great!

Full version FTW.

OK, some screens with fps, I'm not buying that. I can't even run all medium (1280x1024) for good frame rates and had a 3700+ @ 2,7gigs before, so I know how much weaker that prosessor is. Also what driver and GPU clocks?

Try the start @ night when you see the first enemy and if it's not a slideshow then you have found some holy grail to Crysis performance and you have to tell everyone about it how Smile

edit: must add that I have 8x HQ AF forced on always, but hasn't had that much impact on previous games on performance wise.

I confirm the game uses the 4 cores of quad processors, but i dont see that incridible performance they were talking about, and i confirm too after i install the 169.01 drivers and the newest directx 9c november, the game is now playable, its OK, but i think they could even improve the performance even more! inside the jungle is almost unplayable, but i think nvidia will release new drivers, and crytek will release patches to make this game even better in terms of performance.
im off to crysis again, need to finish the demo and kill more koreans, and break threes!

The game is great, but I don´t liek playing the demo with slow performance, it can ruin the gameplay and have a bad conclusion about this game. Going to w8 for final version, wich I can assume that the game will run at 60FPS with everything high.

A friend of mine has an ATI x1800 or what they're named, and her gfx is all fucked up. A lot of textures are see-through and so on with gfx bugs, and it looks just awful. She has the latest drivers.
Anyone else that have experienced this?

Anyone having sound problems with the demo? I'm getting similar crackling/popping problems just like I did in Bioshock.... I think it's to do with FMOD/OpenAL vs. Realtek (shitty oboard soundcard).

Asus A7N8X-Deluxe
AMD 2800XP
Geforce 7800GS
2 GB RAM

Game runs fine by the way... (everything is low mind you), however, the sound really screws it up, any help would be appreciated.
