How do you disable autosave? will improve loading times

also, how do u turn on depth of field in-game like how it is in in conversation mode?

jeez don't get it when people complain about load times , this game load times are 30 sec min. , 60 sec is max ,

when people are complaining about load times this allways gets on my nerves , when i had 486DX 100Mhz i played Half-life 1 with load times like 15 min per level and i didn't complain , on my Pentium 2 mmx 450mhz i still remember the 4 to 6 mins load times form Baldurs gate 1 and 2 and so on....

Kids today never have enough patience

um given i can quick save any time i want and given autosaving adds an extra 5-10s for each load, i would much rather get rid of autosave. i too played games like half life which had long load times - given this is an rpg, it's all about immersion and loading times kill that

I think watermelon worked for me or something like that, nun mentions that offering must be fresh, don't know if that's a factor, there is a peasant vendor nearby anyways, at the small sqaure in front of Shani's house with lots of fruit.

You need to mount the image on a IDE virtual drive, yasu isn't needed. Latest DT Pro build is 218, works great here, game rocks hard.

Do you use any anisotropic / antialiasing? I also have 4x aniso.

Everything maxed out includes AA 16X.

OMG LMAO here i can install 4.10.215 but i dont see anything with a IDE virtual drive, when i install 4.10.218 it wont open says that DTProHlp.dll is not a valid image for windows, i dont really know why does 215 installs ok and 218 gives error LoL

anybody come around this?

Virtual IDE is not needed, it will run perfectly from SCSI IDE, atleast it does for me, loading times for me never cross the 10sec barrier either, although the quick save is fucking annoying, I should be able to save on my own accord.

Yeah, sorry about that it's Anisotropic.
The problem is that the loading times are much slower after a few hours of play.

I'm pretty sure I'll replay the game, making different choices and choosing a different character class path.

Brian1, i also have troubles installing Pro version, so what i do.

- if you have AVG Antivirus remove it completly
- remove Deamon Tools ( also registry entries ) and reboot.
- find working DT Pro Dvanced ( not all version working for me )
- install it and DONT LOUNCH IT AFTER INSTAL.
- copy DT Pro patch to install directory of DT Pro and aplay it
- Reboot again
- Lounch DT Pro and create IDE virtual derive
- Mount MDS file and you are good to go

Perform all the steps, hope it helps.

yeah.. I must say that the game is very good.

sure, the graphics could be a little better (I think they're good enough though) and the combat system is not for everyone (but I think it's good. diablo style, but requires more attention).

The game itself is very well done though. Good story, good characters, good environments, good music, good voice acting.

The only thing that's annoying me with this game are the load times. quicksave should be faster. loading the same environment that you're already in with quickload should be faster. and loading the environment you were in a moment ago when you only entered a very small house and left again 10 seconds later should also be faster or require no loading at all.

I'd give it 8/10 and a recommendation for every RPG fan to try this out and see if they like it.

Trying to burn or mount ptnt-wit.mdf. Alcohol v1.9.5 won't recgonize it. Neither will MagicISO or DT. Is there something wrong with this release?
