i usually dont bother with PAL rls's, does this mofo play in ntsc systems, or do i need enigma video switch? or will it just not run unless i have a pal tv?

what do you guys play games for, i made the post about halo being better than doom3 and all you can reponded back with is the resolution is higher, and the graphics are clearer.
The real issue with pc games, and pc freaks with say time and time again that if you had the right equipment you would see. the reality is most people dont. you should not have to completely up grade your system for a 50 dollars game.
if you think about it all pc gaming machines are a huge emulators. A company makes a game based on there own engine and the guys with the biggest emulators say how fast they can run it. this year you have ati and nvidia say we can run doom or half life better. on our newest cards never mind that both games were suppose to be out a year ago and the same 9800pros and 5900's ran the game just fine but now you need the 6800 and x800 to run it the way it is suppose to be.
The real point is 95 percent of people dont have systems that fun call of duty the way it was suppose to be, and its not because people dont upgrade its becuase you buy in nvida and ati sell somthing new every 6 months. and Half-life and doom makers making games for the system that does not exist instead of the one that does. every one here has a computer 5 times more powerful than xbox, but even the same halo that ran smooth on xbox, needs the lasted 500 gfx card to run aat 30 frames per sec. just image if ID made doom3 for the computer of today instead of the computer of 3 years from know, and the old every one has diffrend computers, cause everyone more that 64 megs of ram and a 700 meg processor.
another point is that were is the gameplay.

i only say library level. The rest of halo was cool, but that sucked the big one. No game should ever be allowed again to have a level like that. I like halo pc, didnt really like it on the xbox, but since i m really into the whole halo story, i d love to play it for that alone...

I'd like to see one RPG on XBox with the depth of Planescape:Torment or Fallout... These games are older than the X-Box itself, even a 6 year old PC can play them. This is where your "PCs are only better in graphics" argument falls apart.
Now go jerk off to your french Halo 2.

Regarding the whole console vs PC thing - they both have their advantages and disadvantages and are both suited to certain types of games. Play what you like and stop bitching about it. Personally, I like both and I play both.

hey guys i need a question answered real fats.I am using the kit right now to convert it to a dvd 5 and it says it's only supposed to extract the attraction movie and the dashupdate.xbe bu tright now it is extracting a few movies,a lot of maps,and even the default.xbe.Is this what it is supposed to do?Will it be alright????

I can't understand why someone would post that consoles is crap, pc's are better in a console game thread? Obviously I can't understand someone who posts that pc's are crap, consoles rule in a pc game thread either. That's like standing in line at the foodstore watching what the people in front of you are buying and shouting: I don't wanna eat that sallad you are buying. I have poptarts at home that I like better. No shit??? Who cares?

Well you can tell by the way he writes that BruteForce is a jackass and a fanboy and an asshole. Same with chutneylad. All their posts just insult the other person. I said I think PC has the better games OVERALL. Just because 3 out of the 4 games I'm looking forward to doesn't mean that I like consoles better. All the PC games I wanted to play just came out recently. I am not a console basher. I love consoles. I own xbox and PS2. I just think that PC has better games. I'm starting to think the only people that play PC games now are older people. Every console gamer I run into is immature and annoying. Not with PC gamers.
Oh and yes I think graphics are better even on my POS comp. They're more detailed and I still can run it at a higher res than a console (which runs games at 640x480). But it's the gameplay that matters. And PC has much more variety in games than a console.

Yeah I only insulted you once and that was that post. You insulted me right off the bat. I just got back at you. Plus that post wasn't directed to you! I quoted chuntneylad! And when I said take your xbox/Halo fanboy antics elsewhere I was mainly refering to the FANBOY part. And don't go off saying I'm a fanboy. I already said I love consoles. I just like PC better. I'm not trying to convince everyone that they have better games. I'm just starting that I believe that they do.
Ugh and I've been coming to nforce for over a year.
And listen to Thing2 if don't want this to keep going on and on (this is also refering to you too chuntneylad and pallebrun). Lets just end this little debate now.
