Hi guys, it's my first message on this exceptional board, i know you from 3/4 years but i dont post never This is my problem: I have installed the PROCION (with YASU mode) & FLT version of the game (with VITALITY patch & non). The installation it's ok, but the game won't save the option file, automatic save (in master league mode) & also manual save, the save is if as unavailable...it's impossible to save anything. This is the message that appear when i would save the game (in italian): "INSUFFICIENT SPACE FOR SAVE" It's impossible...i have more space for download the father & mother of developers from web . Can help me someone ? Thx for help SUDD

I can only repeat that I don't have any missing textures. I blocked the game from accessing the internet from the beginning. Maybe it wanted to download Ads and the servers weren't online when you guys where playing. Everything fine here The only problems I experienced: I cant choose 1024x640(16:9) and I can save my Optionfile, but the game won't load it automatically. Every time I start the game I have to load my optionfile. After that everything is fine I think Konami will release a Patch soon. Oh and I have an Advice for all the PES gamers experiencing low FPS. The game itself activates Anti Aliasing (I think at least 2x), so there should be a huge gain in speed if you disable Anti Aliasing in your graphicscards drivers! Switching to medium will give you low quality Textures, Shaders and ugly crowds..

i really dont understand why some are having problems with this super amazing game bcuz it runs perfect for me with no missing textures or slow downs whatso ever. this game is out of this world & i will be buying the original version for my PS3 . Konami deserves every $$ for making such a master piece of a game Wink

out of this world? lol. I've been playin pes for 10 years, many versions and while it's good, I would never say it's amazing. Yeah the missing textures can be fixed by not allowing PES to connect to internet Tested it by allowing and got missing textures. No need to reinstall or anything.

How do I not allow it to connect to the internet? Is the only way to disconnect to the internet? And does anyone know where I can get 1280 x 1024 resolution fix?

Edit: Got it working for the ad boards, thanks for the FW call! I just now get the RGB thing on loading a match and replays, is that same for everyone else? I'm just hoping someone will release something to fix these problems

Its the same thing.. It shouldnt happen if you disable the connection. There might still be some leftovers, check FW again. I had 2 entries.

... Any idea on why it keeps coming back? I've even tried "dont allow exceptions" as well, but still same. Very odd.

I'm tempted to just wait till somethings out which will sort the problem, or wait till actual release date, and see if konamis servers fix the problem.

Just played the 360 version on same monitor as I use my pc, the PC rapes the 360 version on Visuals and Framerate, DEF the version to get of the 2.

Found 2 options

Option 1:

b) DiskID = 2, Last Sequence = 24, Disk Prompt = 2, Volume Label = PES8_D2

c) *OPTIONAL* table "Lanch Condition" and delete row if you want to install at win 2003.

7. Put patches and updates in both PES8_D1 and PES8_D2.

8. Burn contents of PES8_D1 to dvd with label "PES8_D1"

9. Burn contents of PES8_D2 to dvd with label "PES8_D2".

10. Ready.

Dvd1 size is 3.9GB and DvD2 is 1.55GB.
The reason is that if someone decides to install only english there is no need of second dvd. But must untick in custom setup the extra languages:

If he choose to full setup, after english language install there will be a prompt as shown below:

Option 2:

Delete the file of the indesiderate language in the dvd's folder
\program files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2008\img

s=spanish
e=english
g=german
f=french
i=italian
q=portoguese

But now i must edit the msi files with orca

Haha I did have ZA but had major problems with it, so I am not going down that route again. TBH, I think it might be something to do with the Nvidia Firewall, and I need to configure pes2008 in that... Only problem, I haven't got a clue where it is on my comp!

If anybody out there can tell me where the Nvidia firewall is that would be great lol... Unless I've already accidently deleted it.

Well if you dont dig it up in add/remove programs its prolly not there. So try checking there. If you manage to get rid of it Id suggest giving Kerio pers FW a try.

I confirm! If you block the acess of pes2008.exe with a firewall, the ad boards are back! Strange !! Now i have all the ad boards working...! Now everything is perfect!

its says my computer is too bad but thats not true cause i can play call of duty 4 on high etc. and it runs perfeclty.the demo of pes runs perfectly on high details but i couldnt change it there also lol only with that kitserver thing...
