Okay the problem I have is the game intro playing finishing and then reloading. Not the bit where the cop gets it but the bit after where it shows ingame footage. It ends and then it just starts again.
Anyone know where I'm going wrong.

Me thinks you should put more info. Like what version of Windows are you running. What cpu, gpu, sound card. Are you drivers up to date? And i mean all ones(sound, gfx, mobo). Do you have 2gb of ram? How much free space you have on hdd?

Are a lot of people having all kinds of issues? because the reviews haven't been so kind and if it's so overwhelming with bugs and glitches...well...
Blame! don't act!

Anybody get this working with a wireless 360 controller? I actually don't mind the mouse and keyboard for this game, just wanted to give the gamepad a try as well.

Won't run for me either, p4 3ghz, 2gig ram, x1950pro 512mb (xp sp2)
(with old omega drivers):
Goes fine to menu, set it to 1280x1024 and try to start, at loading the dots stop moving. I alt-tabbed out and saw a messagebox telling me some shit i didn't even bother to remember,(rendering thread exception).
Figured it was old drivers
(with latest omega drivers):
fat bluescreen, the one that dumps memory and freezes everything. complaining about atikvmag. rebooted and like a regular retard i tried again, no bluescreen but the background action in the menus doesn't show and the game refuses to load.
at the last attempt i did the resolution was reset to 640x480 and when i tried changing it the monitor just made the sound it does when the resolution changes over and over again. (like 640 to 1024 and then back and loop that over and over).
i wonder if it's the omegas, going to try to install regular ati-drivers instead and see if that works, the publishers haven't really been a big help (yeah i know, but if i HAD bought the game the problem would still have been there so..
Strange thing is that World in Conflict also bugs out totally..

admittable its choppy as hell but the idea may help others without 2 gigs of ram
my system
p4 2 gig from 2001
640 mbs of 800mhz rambus (rambus was required back then)
intel 850mv board
geforce 7800gs 256 ddr 3 on agp 4x slot(yes i realise this is only a couple of years old)
creative audigy 1
i used a clean install using
WTinyV.Unattended.Activated.CD (youll find it on public trackers)uses approx 256 mb ram
winrar
media player classic(quicktime version
163.69_forceware_winvista_32bit_english_whql video driver
SBAXVSD_PCDRV_LB_2_12_0002 audigy driver
i set my cache to 2 gigs and its on a second drive in a partition at start of drive specially for cache
installed stranglehold
set reseloution to 640 x 480
turned of shadows and lights
ive played for almost 2 hours with no crashes
also have played bioshock and moh airborne on this system

i still cant figure out how to make the game run (i even went through the stuff suggested here: http://www.midway.com/us/SupportCustomer.php?url=/midway/consumer/kbdetail.asp%3Fkbid%3D870 ) but instead of giving me an alternating black-screen and a drop back to desktop cycle the monitor just goes blank and then a blue screen error crash comes along (nv4 driver error...)
i guess the game is just programmed pretty shitty and my system isnt good enough to cope with that =|

I ve already bined this one becouse i have the same looping as you. Combination of 1GB Ram + nVidia might be a reason. I ve tried all kind of drivers and no still joy.
Lutz, it is just another shooter so forget about it.

The game runs fine now on my system. The solution: Nvidia 163.76 beta drivers =)

The solution is not the drivers. and not any other "crap".
The Solution is mostly to update your Windows through windows update.
Though i just bought an X2 cpu and a new motherboard with 2gb ram and now it works fine.
I had the strange black screen before that, and i might have forgotten to update my windows before i bought some new parts.
And medal of honor airborne keeps resetting computers, and the solution for that is windows update, i noticed that today when i did it just a few hours ago.
Hope it helps!
