hmm... managing games...
I used to play manager games like 10 years ago when they looked like shit and were pretty simple. I loved em.
I still like the idea and I would love to play games like this but every time I get one and start it up I'm just overwhelmed by the amount of details and options and it's just too much.
I got no idea about all the football stuff so it just confuses me so much that I usually give up pretty quickly.
oh well.. I'll just try this one too and hope that I'll have some more patience this time to see how this damn game is played.

Has there been any significant changes since it went gold (which was just before the demo came out)? Any big name firings, releases or hirings? IIRC Grant had just been put in charge of Chelsea so that's done but the Ajax guy needs to be his coach.

You can change that yourself with the editor. What really bugs me is when the Premier league pictures/logos pack will be out.

Clone version is working great (Vista 32bit) with YASU and Daemon Tools 4.10 non Pro.
You can change the resolution as before : "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" --fullscreen_height=1024 --fullscreen_width=1280
Please don't PM me. I will not tell you where you can download this game!
