well it was a purposely paced 'interactive horror story' which is most likely why it was so 'controlled', and so i dont really mind that this is how it is.

Don't why there's so much hate for scripted games... Scripting means potential to have good story, while unscripted games are [b]usually] just too open to have a good, manageable story.

I coudn't agree more Leo Take for example Oblivion, It's big and open and therefore nonlinear, but I'll rather play a game like Baldur's Gate 2 which has a much tighter story, and Imho still maintains a nonlinear game (That's why I'm very sceptical about Fallout 3), and in the case of fps games like Jericho, I'll take a nonlinear game with a soild story and thick atmosphere any day, and that means a lot's of scripted sequences. If the scripting is executed right, you will have a very cinematic experience which I prefer. And if you wanna play the game again, then just put it on the shelf a couple of years then you can't remenber the scripts

Description
Quote: | Note : As mentioned, this package has been made from a review copy of Jericho, which is the *exact* same retail game, only that it's released out about 2 weeks before the actual retail game for reviewing purposes by the media. There's absolutely nothing missing from this copy, it's a 100% legit release. The game works perfectly well, without any bugs, glitches or system crashes. This game has been labelled as a 'game rip' by me only because it's not with a proper installer program, you just extract and play. No content has been taken out or added to the game, and it is fully in its entirety. Nothing has been ripped off, downsized, compressed or deleted, so don't worry! |

You can't go wrong with CRYSIS!. That will (hopefully) be the game of the year...no doubt!
Preorderd it myself, and I did not buy many games this year. Bioshock, Medieval 2 and Silent Hunter 4... I think that's about it.

yeah crysis is definitely the most impressive title this year, and the power struggle multiplayer mode seems to be great, almost as good if not even better than battlefield multiplayer. It'll keep you busy for ages if you're into that kind of thing. Plus we'll probably see shitloads of mods and user made maps for crysis.
Jericho is probably pretty cool, but if I had to choose between the two I'd take crysis any day.

after playing around with that bio-suit, i gotta say i really liked it, especially in terms of multiplayer... its a unique and great idea, brilliantly executed... all those people bitching in the forum about how gay it was are just clueless twats shooting their mouths off when they clearly dont know shit.
edit: hows this for retarded... just looked at a local online store... the list price for the collectors edition of crysis is the same as the STANDARD version ffs!
ok thats enough off-topic i guess
