As far as I know, there will be some kinda of story driven singleplayer against bots, not just random playing

I get this if I wanna start the game: "Modified executable code is not allowed. Please reinstall the game." Im on Server 2003.
Anyone having the same problem or know something about it ?

Sorry I never tried but I was able to log in at the beginning stages of the game if that's the same thing? Game runs great, doesn't look that good though so I'm assuming it's just a stripped demo.
Gameplay wise it's not classic UT but seems fun enough, and I'm sure the full version (which I'll give more time to play) will be better (especially with the mods). I really don't like the weapons though. All this energy globule nonsense - just takes me out of it.

The story mode is not option the Single Player will be a full time story with objectives just like Gears Of War was... Its already been said by several people from Epic, including Mark Rein..

Actually it looks blurred low res, even when played at 1280x1024. It might be because I'm playing it with a PS2.0 card, or maybe because it's just a beta.

Beg to differ, must be your Shader 2.0... I run the game fine, and it looks great to... There was one map that looked rather grainy - but it turned out to suit the map style.. Theres one map though that looks great - and besides they left out several options. Remember the UT2004 options? This game will certainly have them in the full game, and we still got a DX10 version coming.. Besides looks isn't everything the fact is the game runs smooth as butter on any system just about, and it looks fantastic... Gameplay is what I was concerned with, when I found a non laggy server man I had fun.

You misunderstood me, I'm not saying you can ignore the story - I'm saying you can ignore the storyline mode. They game still features bot battles in the form of 'instant combat' |

jesus fucking wept. Stranglehold looked better than this, the whole expierence just screamed console for some reason and it didnt look good on maxed settings, the blur and shit gave me a headache to be honest. washed out and washed up unreal franchise.

In video options theres a weird slider - screenspace rendering from 50% to 100%. When I started it up in 1024x768 it looked like < 640x480, but setting the screenspace to 100% fixed that. So unless you overlooked that setting, what demo were you playing? And if you don't like blurring, don't max out post processing..
Perfectly acceptable graphics in my opinion. And gameplay is a blast. Rock on, Unreal franchise.

For the people worried about graphics, make sure you're setting the render area to 100 rather than the default of 50 or so..
That fixed my issues.

The game runs sweet and I like the changes. Minigun packs a punch now.Graphics are like GoW on speed lol.
Demo rocks so far... going back to it in a mo... . These games are like the buses here in the UK. Theres none for ages then all of a suddenly loads of them turn up at once. Call of Duty 4 this morning and UT3 tonight. Fucking A.
