Just downloaded it , actually , I didint play SIMS 1 , but I am wondering , can I make sadistic cannibals , psycho-killers family in SIMS 2?
I dont wanna get a job , get married , I wanna crack some heads , be a serial killer in SIMS 2 neighborhood..

sims2 has safedisk 3.2.020 but also custom checks as you said and its the custom checks that makes it hard for crackers to crack it.
EA = custom shit.

if you explore some files in the sims game folder, you can sea that the build mode will refear to specific ofset's in the .exe file. the crackers have removed many data's in the exe file, (over1 mb) and now all offset's are decalled build mode can not be opened. it's all watt i have found but i don't know how can repear this default i'm not a programmer.

U can export ur house(s) But u do lose ure friends then, but the house and stuff stays intact and can be imported somewhere else.

it was the problem with the crack that you couldnt save, I mounted the mini image now and all works fine yay.

Hehe, I don't think you will be able to do that because the game is meant to be available for a smaller audience.

I´m sure this question has ben asked over and over agin.... But i Have probs with the mini-image... I have copied the Exe-file back to the original folder and installed the recomended daemon-tools... And I have mounted the image... But when I try to start the game, It tells me "Dvd-cdr cloning softwere detected, please deactivate and try again".......... How can I both use daemon tools and have it deactivated?? Or is it another program it complains about?? I have uninstalled Alcohol 120% and clone-cd...
Yes!! I have uninstalled clone-cd... Is there any other progs that Sims belives is a cd-emulution softwere??

hmm... I havent tired that... ehhh.. feels stupied... I downloaded a package with daemon-tools, the original exe, the mini-image and the nudety patch... So I never tried with a crack AND the mini-image.. =)
well I´m running of to try that now...!! THX for the help!!

use the proper crack that came with the Money DVD release and it will work.
and you dont use the crack and the mini image. just forget about the mini image when you use the good crack. the good crack replaces the mini image.

I would guess that the mini image won't work with the DVD version, the mini image is a mini image of CD1, NOT the DVD.
Use Money's crack and only Money's crack.

Damn. Wrong thread. DON'T use Money's DVD crack, it won't work with the CD version, don't use any cracked exe, the mini image will only work properly with the original exe. Try uninstalling CloneDVD?

Hmm.. sounds like I have to find the DVD-version instead... =)
Can I still use my old CDR saves in the DVD version?? or do I have to export the old ones??

hmm.. I don´t have cloneDVD... I have uninstalled everything that handles CD´s exept for Nero and Daemon-tools now... still the same prob... If I have used Moneys crack already, do I have to reinstall before the mini-image works??

what are you babbling about?
the crack on the dvd release works perfectly fine with the cd version, i shuld know since i use the cd version and that crack.
its not a nocd crack so you have to put the cd in the drive.
so again, get the dvd crack and put the cd in the drive and game away.
