Ok few reality checks. First thing: I dont watch Tv. I have much bettar things in my life to do then watch some crap on tv of 20 morons running over a ball. 
Second thing: My work involves me moving whole day aka 8h on my feet.
Close minded people are those who sit at home and watch sports and drink beer. Thats close minded pearson. If you dont realize that then you should really look around you. Who works their ass of? What are you talking about? Only sport where you need to train is Marathon.Rest are few h a day on court/gym and thats that. If you wanna see real "working youre ass off" try mining for 10h a day, or try working on oil platform. You sound like kid in his la la land unaware or RL. Tell me how much was payed for Beckham to come to america? That money could have gone to so much bettar things. Oh and in RL like in Sports its not about how much talent you have. Its about how much luck you have( money and connections). |

No it's not. If you copy over 1.1 exe save bug comes back along with it. I just lost my saves 3 time this way. I have clone but starforce detects emulation software (DT), would DT pro work? Damn i wanna play with 1.2 patch :s

Hmm nope, don't think it does anything to performance, which is good anyway on a decent system. I can play 1680x1050 maxed out 4x AA silky smooth.
BTW DT pro and vIDE doesn't work with 1.2 too, useless shit.

That's right. It also didn't work for me. The save bug is still there. Saving/loading works only while your PC is online.

Hmm that's not the save bug. Save bug is save file getting corrupt and the next time you start the game you will get a nice "failed to load because save file is corrupt" error and you gotta start entire game over again. It also happens so randomly, I started game a few times just fine and save loaded, then started after few hours and bam, save corrupt. I'm thinking of buying this shit cheap coz the game is tons of fun

My brother had save issiue coz he dont have internet, problem was solved by installing microsoft loopback adapter, read here for more info, worked fine for him

Yes if your computer is online it works fine even without the 1.2 patch.

i have a problem when i click the option menu in the game!It pops to desktop with a firewall message(the firewall message says:Keep Blocking,Unblock!)(this messsage occures after first time when i install the game)either way i chose,when i enter the game again and click options it still pops to desktop with no message this time and everytime from the first message!it's patche'd to 1.2 the game,does anyone can give some help to what should i do!i had the same problem with worms(Dirt is a Codemasters game) but didn't botter to solve it!

What makes you think it's a game's problem? I play it all the time on different computers and never had that problem.

i have reloaded edition,and have this problem only with Codemasters games(i think because of Starforce)!i have no idea what the problem cood be!i've google'd the problem,but no matches!i'm using XpSP2 updates till this day!what are u using?
i can play the game,but it crashes when i click options in the menu!

SOLVED...............changed to nod32 Security.......and by using Security 's Firewall it's working...and doesn't crash when i click options or ask me any f message1

Hey guys, a small update. This is from what I've gathered from official forums, plus me testing it. For those playing it, or planning to install it after installing Grid, it will install a very old OpenAL software, that could make your Grid to crawl (like Dirt does/did). Go to "C:\Program Files\OpenAL" and install OalinstGridRelease.exe. Now, if you want a very (VERY) nice boost in performance in Dirt, go to the folder you installed Dirt in, and remove the OpenAL.dll and wrap_oal.dll files. This will make Dirt use the newest files available in the system, instead of the old ones. Huge improvement in multi-car races.
