  • Genre: RPG
  • Release date: Out Now
  • Story/Description:
    Quote:

The powerful sorcerer, Marcus Dominus Ingens became immortal after unraveling the mystery of the ancients. His pride and hunger for power made him eliminate all alchemists whose skills and knowledge equaled his. Now he keeps their souls in Golden Tanks and uses them for his evil purposes and controlling infernal forces. Whole armies of demons and devils are at his command. In order to take control over the world, however, he'd have to destroy the God’s Envoy.

Marcus is aware that he is too weak to destroy the God’s Envoy, so he sets free hordes of infernal monsters in order to harvest human souls. Each new soul makes Marcus more powerful, while the God’s Envoy becomes weaker and weaker. And then one day…

For many years the Mystery Guards Fraternities have trained Hunters to fight the evil. Hard-bitten, well trained in magic and alchemy, they traversed the world fighting against the powers of darkness. Now, their Fraternities need them back to face the whole army of infernal beasts. The life of God’s Envoy and the world order are at stake. The best of the best: Frater Simon, Elena and Tong Wong prepare to save the Earth ready to risk their lives in the fight against Marcus.

Do you have what it takes to stop the demons?

Draw your sword against evil to save your people’s souls and the future of your world!

While the demo is available on a quite a few sites like Gamershell it's also possible to download a 60 minute trial version that includes the entire game albeit you probably won't see much of it in 60 minutes. Smile

Demo:

(Probably linked to above.)

Its a old game from 2006 under the name "Frater" , wonders me why they changed the title when the "Frater" release had ENG subs and sounds ,
Game is a nice RPG similar to Dungeon Siege but with Diablo twist , you have 3 characters each have a different story path , different quests , different weapons (one uses Guns , other only magic and the next one White Weapons) Its a really fabulous Hack and Slash - recomend it

"Draw your sword against evil to save your people’s souls and the future of your world!
"

Bet it took them a while to come up with that storyline Smile

I'll still play it though...

The same was with the game Chrome , in some part of the world it was known as "Advanced Battlegrounds:The Future Of Combat" aka Chrome Gold Edition

well, if the game gets released by a different publisher in a different part of the world then they have the right to change the name of the game to whatever they feel is appropriate.

Just played it for a while and that intro is just laughable, just listen to that voiceover, it is by far the worst I have ever heard in a game, and I am not exaggerating here, the way he's doing the voiceover is like he's reading it off a page and the guy doesn't know how to interpret punctuations:LOL: I hate the items as well, they look like crap, the way your main character puts them on is also silly, when he has this cap on he looks like a toy from playmobil with a stick in his hand.

Looked good on the shots, but will have to skip this:(

I sort of agree with you, but with the endless barrage of racing games and the never ending tirade of FPS its nice to have something to fall back on..

Geez, at least you HAD voiceovers... Polish version of this game was silent as lamb's ass (only sound effects - no voices at all) Wink The funniest thing is that the game WAS ACTUALLY MADE in Poland!

Was quite fun, though.

I still maintain that the voice acting in that game was so terrible on purpose, as an homage to the horror B-movies (which had crappy acting) that the game was an adaptation of. Then when Capcom noticed how many people didn't "get it," they made the voice acting good for the sequels. (They also redid the voice acting for the Gamecube remake, if memory serves.) It's the only logical reason I can think of for crap like that video clip you posted.

I am really wondering how short/long this game is. Has anybody played it further? First impressions are not that bad, for such a low budget game it has really nice graphics.
I mean, filesize is only 500mb (on install disc and HD), most demos are bigger than this full game size. Even a "quicky game" like HL Episode II is 4,7 gigs! Is the compression so elaborated that a 500mb install may include same size of level, graphics, models paks etc. like a 4,7 gigs game? Cant believe that... Shocked
