Guys, a small advice: If you have a refresh locker, and you enable VSync in the game, the game speed to a turbo level (that's why I was complaining). Anyway, canceled the Vsync in the game and now games runs great.

Sigh...
Ok even John Carmack have said that the 360 is way easier to develop for and even if the PS3 CPU theoretical performance is higher the performance you get in-game is always better on the 360. The 360's GPU is also clearly more powerful.

There is a compiled comparison list of many multi platform games here:
http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?t=33891817&highlight=360+ps3+multi+platform

I think the PS3 version of PES2008 will have somewhat worse IQ and more fps problems than the 360 version. period.

Carmack says that shit because he's a very limited programer, he does OpenGL engine's on age old language for crist sake, Doom 3 had Quake 3 code in it...
The man is brilliant but doesn't have a clue how to optimize SPU's, did you spot any form of physics in any of he's games?.. exactly, the industry outgrown the guy, he's a texture specialist... thats it.

besides that fact he's in Microsofts pocket now as well.
Its no secret that when running optimized code, Cell blows the Xenon clear out of the water, the whole fucking industry agrees on that...

Then we get to your little PES PS3 rant, did you know that the PC and 360 versions of the game are basically PORTS of the PS3 version?
Its true that the GFX engine is cross platform but the machenics are all emuluated to PC/360.

You shouldn't talk about shit you have no clue about, i will call you out on it.

It's not ported from Ps3. Pes 08 was created on the base of Pes6 for 360 which was buggy & rubbish. They needed more time to make it but decedid to release. Now we are playing the game, that shud've been released on 360 last year.

BTW some x360 pes6 bugs are still there, like that field of nothing around the field with random squares of grass in between some "blue" stuff, and a couple more...

"The first thing to hit me was the slow pace. It's been a while since playing an advanced version in Leipzig, so it was much clearer for me compare the two versions. All I can say is that it's very close to the speed of Fifa 08. The X360 version was a little quicker and a little brighter in its colours, but it was pretty much the same. Gone were the players zipping around at an alarming pace in the demo, everything seemed more considered and lifelike"

Thank you o Lord Very Happy The fast paced demo scared the bejesus out of me, the new pes will be the best ever I am sure of it now. Dress pulling, penalties faking plus all the other 2000 moves form previous pes and amazing graphics Very Happy

For me frame skipping made the game run faster. At first i disabled it, but then it was like playing in slow motion. So i turned it on and it was playable. Smile
