this game only has 3 bugs :
1. It uses your Avi codes to view those Avi movies - some times there are conflicts and the game crashes at movies (fixed in this patch but only happens to people that have trash codecs installed)
2. Game crashes to the desktop when you make a new profile but when you enter the game again the new profile is created and you can continue this game (they say they fixed this issue in this patch)
3. Game has Font problems (they blink) on wide screen resolutions (they say they fixed this issue in this patch)
started playing the game... meeeeeehhhh its really not that great to be honest... its not as advanced, awe inspiring or freakin epic as freespace 2 was (when oh when will they make freespace 3?), and it wasnt as much fun as freelancer was (yeah you heard me... i really liked freelancer... exploration, trade, combat, ship customisation... it was a fun as hell game.
and is it me or is this game seriously light on graphics settings... all you can do is set resolution and thats about it.
oh, and the enemy ship explosions... holy fuck, have you guys seen anything LESS satisfying as this? its just like '....poof...' and thats it... yeah, ive been waiting for a really great space combat game ever since freelancer... this isnt it
oh and no crashes for me... just one ANNOYING as fuck issue where the game starts up on my secondary monitor instead of my primary for some stupid reason.
from the time i spent playing this, no, it was nothing at all like freelancer. i was simply saying that freelancer was the last good space fighter game i played, and this one isnt anywhere near as much fun
