Yes i think most people actually have this issue. Apparently, it is compiling the shaders. You need to run around for a bit while it's like that and eventually it will start covering the models with textures. It's really odd! |

Thats awesome, so physic trees just locked in DX9, basicaly not using any DX10 features ?

Interesting. If some features that are present in the dx10 version are just locked in the dx9 version that would suck balls..
Still loving this game. Main things I've noticed from beta 2 > 3 are increased weapon costs (rocket launcher has doubled in price) and improved performance, at least on my low/mid-range rig..

that was announced a while ago. it's a multiplayer thing only.
there are DX9 servers and DX10 servers. on DX10 servers you can only connect with DX10 hardware and vista and you will have full physics including destructible trees.
on DX9 servers everyone can connect but you won't have full physics.
In single player everyone can have destructible trees.
