got around playing it a bit and i must say it's same CSI as was last time, practically nothing changed, ffs they could at least make an exception for once and give ability to walk around crime scenes and so on, stupid pre-rendered shit getting tiresome

hahaha
they should use that for promotion

well, they've changed something
namely, removed ALL options
i'm forced to play at a resolution i've last seen in my diapers
and the game locks up right after i click 'new game' and write my name
appears telltale didn't really care much about this product as they haven't even updated the website

ok, i take some of that back
apparently it DID create a profile for my name, and i could start the game by loading that profile
and options is accessible, but i have to be inside the gameplay mode first
odd
and i still can't access resolutions above 1280x1024 :/

Looks like crap but plays the same as ever. The max res is 1280x1024 for me too. You can alt-enter to play in windowed mode. I had to since the resolutions on my system are screwy (856x480 and things.. can't get rid of them!) and the game applies the next resolution as soon as you click the +.

It's fun but It's more of an interactive movie then a good adventure game. I think they should do the whole evidence collection step harder.

finished
i liked the first one a lot better
the logic of the cases is awfully inconsistent, which is rather unfortunate on a supposedly logic based game
it's all painfully linear.. i can't do something until i do something obscure but specific first, like look at a useless smudge that has nothing to do with the case and pieces of evidence magically appear on the crime scene
can't somebody finally make one where i can study the place myself in places i want and do my own conclusions and not depend on prescripted narrative?
i'm not asking for a full simulation, but it's pretty pointless just clicking around when the experience is 100% the same as if i was watching a movie

It all depends on whether you have aids (not the HIV evolution) enabled or not. With the green pointer and all it gets quite straight-forward and easy, but try using your own CSI eyes for a change, and that's where it gets hard (sometimes too tedious really, since it can get a guess-and-click fest).

But otherwise, it's straightforward and linear, and there's no game over. These games got me into starting to watch CSI (original one, mind you, not Miami or NY), but it's always cooler to play the CSI... Heh.

i actually played 'csi: criminal intent' instead of 'hard evidence' but since i'm too lazy to make a new topic i'll just post under this one.

first off, the game's graphic is so dated. it's like playing a 2001 game or one from the 90s. i played it for 20 or so minutes before uninstalling the game.

you basically look for clues by waving your mouse around like mad until you see the cursor change. it makes me wonder who the target audience for this game. anyway, i don't see myself ever playing this game again.

i was super bored that's why i tried it. trying it made my boredom worst. Very Happy

I managed it. I sometimes forget to look at the "?" option boxes in dialogues cause I have it in my head they are just boring "I dont know" repetitions Very Happy

I'd love to give Jorja Fox and Lauren Lee Smith some hard evidence. Cool Face

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
