They really pushed hard to get a hefty list of Features. Some things others consider standard, the developers/publisher are proud of:

...
* Dialog boxes
* A help system
...

I mean... Wow.

Anyway, I'm being too critical on this one, and it could be just as interesting, but I'm not going to spend my bandwidth once again. I'll wait till someone gives a mini-review.

The graphics are astounding, I'll give them that.

I'm grabbing it now, it looks stunning, so I really want to check this out.

And about the help system, most adventures don't have one, so thats not such a bad point.

It's currently installing, I'll get back soon with some details. Smile

EDIT: Must be a ton of music or such since the download was 4GB but the virtual DVD unit only reports the disc being 1,71GB Laughing
(EDIT: Or is TAGES having fun again as the contents on the disc is a setup exe file, a DX9 folder and three CD folders labeled CD1, CD2 and CD3)

EDIT: Nice interactive main menu but not that good resolution, looks to be pre-rendered 2D.

EDIT: Cool, russian (egyptian?) roulette regarding how to play the game.

EDIT: Story seems a little cheesy at first but it works.

Intro.

Cleopatra is a bitch...

...Doesn't concern my character that much though.

End of intro.

Start of the game.

Time to find my girl.

(Or what's left of her. )

The first of what can only be many puzzles.

The games menu system.

(Not the easiest to understand eh?)

Various notes.

The allmighty help system appears.

Seems I picked a good sign.

Lets see what we can write about the game so far then.

The games main menu is quite cleverly designed and works by interacting with the various objects in the room albeit some might be hard to spot at first and it also seems one can influence the events in the game depending on what sign you choose.

The introduction is a little humorous mainly due to the voice acting but it works OK for a adventure game and the story might pick up later albeit I'm not really far into the game.

Technically it appears to be pre-rendered 2d scenes with a fully rotatable camera so you can look at everything albeit the resolution is quite low at only 1024x768 and can't be adjusted from what I see.

Lots of background noises and audio and the sound is quite good aside from the above mentioned voices, music also fits quite well.

The so called hint system is annoying since it seems to pop up every time I go into the game menu (Right click on the mouse) but it just tries to be helpfull so I'll give it a chance.
(Will probably slow down a little further into the game as it treats me as a beginner right now and keeps providing tons of advice.)

Overall it seems like a interesting adventure game but I will need to play a bit more to create a better opinion before judging the game.

Not bad so far if you can tolerate the hint system and the voice acting. Smile

EDIT: I only had english to choose when I installed the game, actually there were no choices at all.

EDIT: This scene is quite similar to that other adventure title where you combine items in a similar fashion, might be the same developers though I can't remember the title of the game.

(My brain tells me I need another stick to combine with this sticky substance.)

EDIT: This was interesting, some effect played and it seems my sign influenced what happened here.

(Wonder what happens to other signs?)

EDIT: Another puzzle.

(I don't understand it at all but perhaps I'll solve it later when I know more about it.)

EDIT: Guess it's worth checking the log now and then, found a bit more about the story.

EDIT: It was easier than I thought to solve this one. Very Happy

EDIT: Finally solved the entire pussle.

EDIT: Nice cutscene, finally decoded those messages.

EDIT: Saved by the constellations and the stars.

(Though I doubt the developers would just kill the main character when he does a mistake or gets in a threathening situation like the above arrow volley.)
