Not seen that at all, even looked out for it. Could be your xbox dying?
Demo is really good anyway, shooting has changed quite a bit, can now hold the button down much longer without ballooning it over like last years.

theres no option in the demo to change the camera angles, hope this will be in the full version

the demo does not have any anisotropic filtering enabled, thats why the grass looks like it does. No idea if it will be enabled in the final game.

I just haven't seen this effect at all though, the grass looks identical close up as it does the other side of the pitch. What sort of TV are you playing on? Can't see why its different on mine. There are loads of jaggies still and stuff is obviously not finished though.
And it pisses all over FIFA by the way.

Played the demo on my 37'' Samsung HDTV and the grass is just fine, not like the pic above.
Only thing i can point at the demo is the player animations, especially when they are running. In my opinion, after comparing both fifa 08 and pes 08 demos, fifa is much better animations wise.

dont want to start a fifa and pes war..but this yrs fifa is by far the best fifa ive ever played and i thought it would be better than pes this yr but my god its so boring..yes its realistic but it seems to be all the boring bits..pes is exciting and thats the difference...if only they had included be a pro mode in the cup competiotions in fifa cause thats the best mode

true it is a good fifa this year, but i am so happy when PES comes out..
because i get real sick of fifa right now, online games are not any good, just rush the ball forward and try to head it, 50 % chance of a goal..
and i also think FIFA is slow. Shoot on the goal, goalkeeper gets it, and if you are lucky you will get a rebound, and the goalkeeper is still on the ground..

yes a few people got it today apparently selling in greece also shops in uk have it in stock and are selling it to friends early.....good comments up to now...ign give it 10/10 for gameplay..prayin for a release now
