Yes, 14GB.

I don't know what protection it has but lets hope it uses lots of space and FLT can crack it and upload it in half the size Shocked

Thinking about it the demo had a "attraction" video playing when you quite it, that video was 300MB and there were also multiple videos for various stages on the level so if it's the same with the other levels I can easily see the game reaching several GB in size just for video data not to mention textures, maps, models, sounds and if the game is multilangual size would be further increased so 14GB doesn't seem too unlikely.

The demo ran pretty good and looked good on 3800+ X2 1,5gig ram and Geforce 7600GS 512 mb so your minimums have to be the recommended:P

Did they use Uncompressed AVI for the compression codec of their videos? Or are they at a gazillion kbps? Because there isn't anything fucktacular about the game's graphics that could take up 15gigs.

I think I know where the problem lies. I think they rendered all the movie scenes into videos, just like in the demo (almost all the video scenes are prerendered in game engine, but in videos). That's what made the demo so huge. Rolling Eyes How dumb can they be?

I dont see why would they make game that takes 2 dvd9 on purpose. It costs much more to print 2 dvds and make special box for it.

Well, it's the theory that says that if one can't enjoy the game on full graphics, let the cutscenes make them "WOW". Company of Heroes and World in Conflict make me realize how old my hardware is with every single cutscene.

I'm not "for" this method. And whatever the hell? Are there that many cutscenes? Or do they not know about XVid?

This whole game is a complete joke!
How can you even think, that a normal paying customer is happy about installing 2 DVDs = 15GB ???

THIS particular game is not worth the 12gb download. Crysis would, but I really guess Crysis will "only" be a full DVD9.

Fuck this game, not going to download!

What did you expect from a port ? Consoles need that FAKE-rendered-in-real-time-cut-scenes-movies Laughing they are forced by the limitations , and it only that shows this game is a quicky port , come on 2 gigs of ram to run this game Rolling Eyes
