But Starforce is no problem anymore (cloning, even cracking). So I expect a clone in the next hours/days!

If u think that itยดs delayed u should read this thread Very Happy http://forums.midway.com/all_things_stranglehold/b10788/27492310/p1/?6

but it seems that PC version has serious issues in performance, and there is no options to change graphics quality (textures etc..), but still im waiting release cant wait to get playing it Razz

haha you also coverd your eye;) lol

looks like many people had problems with the demo (me like you, had no problems at all), so maybe they are checking the issues.
i don't think that deley of 2-3 days can fix anything but i will play it as soon as it gets out:D

seems like developers forgot how to release good games (fine tunned) for the pc Sad
maybe the direct x 10 came too early and confused every one?
who know's, but it was never like that..so many games that cames out like beta's.

Stranglehold requires 50GB of free hard disk space during the installation process but, once installed, the setup files can be removed or stored elsewhere. If installing Stranglehold to a secondary drive, your system's primary drive requires 20GB of free hard disk space during the installation process.

What!?

Senior Game Designer Patrick Curry said that about the final version, now do you have a special edition or something ? Because reports say that there only is 2 video options.
No textures can be set to high - no anti aliasing - no anisotropic filtering ??????
Is this a total port over from xbox360 since it lacks all these features that are standard in pc games today.

Code:

Stranglehold Download File Size

12.0 GB

Unpacking the downloaded archive and the filesize would be 24GB unless the user is smart enough to remove the downloaded archive before installing the game.
(50 is a little extreme but 24GB + 12GB after installation = 36 GB for those who don't delete the temp files.)

EDIT: And if the unpacked setup files want to further unpack the packed game content to a temporary folder before copying them to the game folder you have 48 GB to deal with.

My anticipation of the game is as good as gone Sad Gonna play the ultra-customizable World In Conflict now, thats what I call a good Pc game.

If it's a port, how come it's 12GB? A DVD9 holds 7.92GB max, so what did they bloat it with?

Sounds fishy to me.

Videos are encoded in Bink format, like (almost) every game. Textures are compressed automatically by UE3.

I think that it's impossible that a Pc Game requires 50 Gb of Hard disk Space. I think that Stranglehold is a Dvd 9 of 8 gb.

Well for Resident evil 4 you needed 5 gb of free space to install patch which was 10mb. I think it was around 5gb. If i am wrong someone correct me.

I agree with you this is some rumor that is spreading now that requiers 50Gb.
When it's out we'll see, but still it's difficult for me to believe that the game will require that much free space Rolling Eyes

I think too. Stranglehold for 360 is a 7 gv Dvd 9 and this news of 50 gb is a big joke.

The joke is not being able to change keybindings. At least the demo let me invert my mouse, or I would have been done right there (playing the other way around fucks me up for days).

But even though I could invert for normal play it was still not inverted in standoff mode. It hurts my brain so much to try and switch back and forth.

Not getting this one. No gfx options, no control options == no play.
