nothing is legit till proven and confirmed. now, since the upload isn't even completed yet, you cannot assure nothing.

Microsoft has backtracked on its original threat to ban the LIVE accounts of gamers who have purchased Halo 3 early following high street retailer Argos' admin error.
Earlier today, a Microsoft rep told Pro-G that gamers who played Halo 3 early would have their LIVE accounts banned. The rep also confirmed that Microsoft was able to ban accounts based on information collected by the console which showed when the game was played.
However, Pro-G has since been contacted by another MS rep, who said the ban only applies to Microsoft employees.
What this means for those of you lucky enough to have taken advantage of the Argos error is that you can start playing the game, if you already weren't, free from retribution.
A full statement from Microsoft on the Halo 3 banning scandal is expected soon
you can all breathe a sigh of relief now

Mate, I'd be more than a little worried about posting my gamertag here if I were the one uploadng Microsofts biggest game before the release date. You don't have to prove anything here to these people. I'd edit it if I were you.

Protection, I believe it when I see it, Micro$oft surely did not have time to put something into the release of this game especially the stealth, and ixtreme 2.0.
Show us or tell us. I think you're upset, possibly an employee of Micro$oft or Bungie!
Even if so you can create an offline profile and play offline with it only, using your Xbox live account only to sign in and play originals.
I will buy this game, but I am not going to pre-order to be disappointed not to get mine or wait in line at 12:00AM to get one. I have enough trades to surely buy this game.
I think the point here is - PROVE IT!
