DL'd(demo) but haven't tried it either. Waiting for the real thing I guess Very Happy Anyways from the videos I've been seeing, this game looks damned good for a TB strategy game. As long as it receives some polish(sometimes a prob with the indies) and isn't full of bugs, I can see myself spending many a night with this one. "One more turn..." and so on Very Happy

Now if only this game could somehow combine with Galciv2 so that there could a strategic component as well as tactical...

Too much to wish for tho, I guess heh.

Wow...in-store pricing for a game without a manual or nicely printed cd/dvd case or anything?

I think I'll pass.

Now maybe if it was half the price and had some kind of trial period thing, I'd go for it without thinking. Anyways, hopefully it gets spread soon so I can see if it's actually worth spending any money on...

Loki on gamersgate was the same thing...45 f*cking euros for a digital download game that wasn't even that good.
26-30 euros is a good price I'd be willing to pay.Smile

I tried the demo of the game, but since I'm no fan of strategy games I couldn't get into it.Maybe I'll try again later.

It's basically the same as those old lame 2D TBS games like Panzer General, except with nicer graphics and sound effects. It's nowhere near as fun as Jagged Alliance because there is no character interaction or any RPG elements whatsoever. Really, who cares about this kind of game when World of Conflict is out?

apparently gamersgate has just made available a PDF Manual for download in the members area. A manual is a must for a game like this, anyone have a copy?

Can someone that has tried out this one tell me if units in this game gain experience during the fights ? And if you can carry over part of them from scenario to scenario in the single player campaing ?
