Yup true work on multi not on single
@ jaapie just add file ( do not exist by default)
Im on vista too > administrator/documents/idsoftware/Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars Demo/Base...

felt like a REALLY REALLY REALLY bad spin off of bf 2142. Back to Battlefield for me as well : \ , I was looking forward to this one too. Anyone else disappointed??

Kiddies finally have their pow pow guns game...maybe it will help siphon off the fucking idiots from the Battlefield series. Game is a complete joke.

I played quake 1 quakeworld quake 2 quake 3 all online and this is totally not like it. I didn't expect much of this game but it's even worse then that, it's really really bad.

Seems like animations are rendered at 30fps. That killed the game for me. |

After all night playing the demo I gorra say this is the best of the lot, blows the BF series out of the water, extremely addictive, well balanced, runs smooth as silk and looks brilliant. All ready got my pre -order in, can't wait.

BF, is as you say boring, after you have retaken the same point and had it taken back 10000 times your about ready for suicide, could never play it for more than a hour without going into a coma.

the people who complain that QW does not play like quake . You have never probably played Enemy Territory, or?
Then you would know that you stay away from this, because this is not quake. the titel is similarly ( quake ) a this is not quake
the people they say that qw is a bf clone , have you play both games , longer then 5 minutes?
why you have not wondering , that gives not flags?and that you can upgraded etc without ranking servers?
i can say , qw play like enemy territory,

Well, I`m not a net player, so I ran a game against bots...and had a great time!
I have not played BF2/2142 for more than 30 mins, so I didn`t have any expectations before going into this, and I`m glad.

Tell you something, they are a friendly lot on Quake Wars, but when playing BF and make 1 little mistake you get flooded with abuse, I got fed up of being called stupid names by frustrated little wimps who's whole darn world is BF. On ETQW they seem to be a little more mature.

if kids can't afford a better computer, they don't get to go on more gfx intensive games. A LOT of the kids got stuck on CS 1.6 while the mature guys moved onto source. Was like that for a long time. It's the only good I see with pushing gfx especially in MP games. |
