LOL! I didn't lose anything because I didn't have to resort to personal attacks. Okay so the picture was a fake. But fake or not doesn't alter the fact that the halfwit still took a child into a dangerous setting. Maybe I should have looked at it longer, but I'm not the type to overanalyse the photo. I expect a spade to be a spade so to speak. Theres no argument for taking a baby into a croc pen, anyone that thinks that is seriously lacking in common sense. A fact reinforced by the Austrialian Government outlawing the practice. The reason I attacked Spykez has nothing to do with the argument at hand. I attacked him for spam, which he is a prolific reporter. Therefore he should set an example. As far as I'm concerned, people who argue that children or indeed Irwin was right to take a child into that situation are complete imberciles. Furthermore had Irwin done that in another country he may have been facing child endangerment charges.

Government all over the world makes stupid laws, using a law to prove your point is almost as dumb as the fake picture. If you want to use something to prove your point that its more dangerous then everyday stuff for us then get some experts or croc scientists statements and not some fat politician who follows the media and the people.
Still its only dangerous setting to your eyes, to croc experts its not such a dangerous place.

Sigh. Look I'm not bothered how much of an expert he is. To take a child into a croc pen for his own career advancement or ego is a stupid thing to do. The baby was too young to learn anything. So what the hell is the point.

LOL!! You call me an mother of two kids ignorant, yet you have no kids yourself. Now tell me, who has the most experience with children.
The things I teach my child such as don't talk to strangers, swimming, not playing with matches or taking care crossing the road. All teach kids how to be safe. The things that Irwin taught his baby were pointless. Especially considering you can never be a true expert and can NEVER totally predict what an animal will do.
But leave. You know you're clueless in the subject.

Just be curs your a mother don't mean you have a clue about what you are doing each day with you kids, there is no page at the end of the book that tell you you are doing it right or wrong. Not to say you are clueless as the rest of us that don't have children you are just less clueless (you have an idea but you still don't know).
But as the fact is that not all of us here have kids (I don't) that is something you will have to understand that we cant see the wold as you do, we just don't understand ..... or is it the other way around, probably depend on how you see it.

"Queensland crocodile expert Mick Pitman said he had spent a lifetime hunting crocodiles and would never have allowed any of his three children near the reptiles, for hygiene and safety reasons."
"I think he's a bloody idiot, he's addicted to the attention," crocodile farm owner Keith Cook told The Courier-Mail newspaper
Animal Planet released a statement on its Web site criticizing the stunt.
"Based on the footage we have seen, we believe a mistake was made," the statement said. "That said, we know from the many years we have worked with Steve, that his family is the most important thing in his life and he takes his role as a father very seriously."

Parenting is a damn hard job, a lot of kids grow up to hate their parents - even though their parents did their best to raise them.
With that said, there are many ways of bringing up your kid and make it successful in life, and an isolated incident doesn't make your every action as a parent wrong.
I think this debate was over long ago really. And right now it continues out of sheer stubborness.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.
