d/led,played, completed.....if i had paid for this i woulda been fucked off...took me about 4-5 hours to complete....on normal..and its nice to look at ,but totally on rails with spawning enemies (that can take a shotgun blast to the face from point blank range)
i used to like the MOH series...well untill pacific assault...

The only MOH's i really, truly enjoyed were MOH1 and MOH2 underground on PS1, they were freaking great, especially at the time. I especially liked the sneaky, tactical missions, and bike rampage, those were good.

this game is good example for a very nice graphic and crapy game play with stupid AI.
the graphic of the city from the tower is very nice.

It looks beautiful from afar (when jumping from the plane), but if you get close enough the textures look washed up and not that impressive (everything is on HIGH) though i never have time to look at them as the firefights are frantic and the enemies are relentless. Today i got to the 4th mission (i think, its right after market garden), i went inside some building to blow up tanks, went inside some house to shoot some nazis. It looked like i cleared the room, turned around and immidiatly a red blimp on the radar appeared right behind me, i killed him, turned around and it happend again, and again, i just got tired of shooting that one respawning dude and ran away from there, i mean they should mask the respawning a bit, not be blatant like that.

I enjoyed the game, not really any complaints apart from its short length of time to complete.
Doesn't beat CoD for the atmosphere and intesity though.
Played for it for free anyway so I can't complain.

Enjoyed it (inspite of respawning enemies) alot until the ELITE-NAZIS-WITH-POLISHED-MEDALS-AND-MINIGUNS-FROM-HELL started appearing.
That was such a fucktard way to end an otherwise entertaining and somewhat historically accurate game.

Thats true... like someone else said. Fuck up a non-fiction game with the ending à la Wolfenstein.
Theres no way someone can stand and shoot with a MG34 and be accurate and not fall on his ass

(Based on a recent interview Stranglehold actually uses the new Havok 5.0 but I'm unsure about GoW and UT3.) |
They don't need to disable it, they just need to not use it or install another system, as the physics system is modular in design. I of course prefer Havok, however it is not perfect either. Just play the Stranglehold demo and you will notice Tequila's legs and arms are getting mixed into objects when you go near them or kick them. Ageia comes with no additional charge for licensees, but developers are free to go with another option, such as Havok. There isn't anything wrong with Ageia's physics API, just the hardware counterpart.
GoW and UT3 are both using Ageia.
