For once in the scene the NTSC release beats the PAL release.
I can almost bet that Halo will come out first as a PAL Release.
It did with Halo 2 and will most likely with 3

lol it had better do but wont Halo3 be region free which makes whether PAL or NTSC is the first to be released somewhat irrelevant!
May the NFOrce be with you always.

I don't think M$ would be stupid enough to release it region free.
Most of the M$ Published games are region locked.
Time will tell...

First I noticed that you shoot with imaginary bullets... ( you shoot but it feels uber fake... )
Second the AI is SUPER CRAP, third your allied soldiers are retarded as fuck. And there are allot of better games coming out now.

Dude you hit like..half the nail on the head with the AI lol.
@ Headshot - Team AI - They ahve this undying need to always get in your line of fire. While not zoomed, you aren't able to fire at them as the crosshair goes to a no sign (like no smoking). If they do happen to get in your line of fire, your bullet is blocked and they still don't die. you can't kill your AI, you can shoot them but the just jump out of the way a little. They also don't shoot the enemy when they see them. They'll just stand there then a an enemy will run up at them in plain view and clock them in the face with their gun, then make it back to safety without a single team AI seeing it.
Enemy AI - their blind, I can't count the number of times I ran through a room full of them without them noticing. They like to stand out in the open and run around screaming and firing off randomly. They'll run up to one of your team members and just stand there shooting at someone else, right in front of your ally, and your ally STILL doesn't shoot them.
The guns are horrible. When using the non zoom reticle it's about as big as your screen making your shots horrible inaccurate and impossible to actually aim unless you bring up your aim sight. When you bring up your aim sight take ntoice that this is the ONLY time you will be able to use the peek. And if you have a submachine guns, FORGET about using your on gun aiming as it's useless cause of the horrible recoil and the fact that the muzzle flash blinds your view of the enemy so by the time you can see again you notice they moved a few inches over and you were hitting the wall.

I thought apart from the hit-detection which was awful, the way they integrated the sound of the guns with the force feedback was really good.
Agree about the AI; it's weird with EA games, it's like in a COD or Valve game, if the enemy does something dumb it seems like an oversight but the company has generally tried to advance the state of art; with EA, maybe it's just me but I get a mental image of a bunch of suits sitting round a table saying 'Fuck it, the deadlines November, let's make these motherfuckers super-dumb and double the advertising budget'.

Are these opinions based on the NTSC retail release? I have a PAL machine and still waiting for the game but I played the demo. I didnt notice anything that you mentioned lol.

Did you never have a situation where there is a room full of enemies with two entrances to the room, and you could like pick off soldiers one by one while some of them who where covering the other entrance where completely oblivious to their friends being shot?

Admittedly I only played through the demo once but at no point did I see anything that made me question the level of artificial intelligence.

Fair enough. The Eurogamer review even compared it to the Half Life AI. All conjecture till we get the full game I guess.

Ahh fuck it I'm gonna go rent it and copy it myself seen as its out today (UK) I thought the demo was ok but perhaps not the best level to pick to display the game I often think that with demos, I have enjoyed all the other Medal of Honour games so it would be a shame if this one isnt too great, I also hope its not finishable in a days play (on hard) even if its free (well freeish if I'm renting it!) its a shame to only get a few hours out of a game.
