When I usually download a game I use quckpar to check the rar files. I downloaded stuntman and once it had finished downloading I just checked the folder I downloaded it in and went to bed.

I look now and there is a iso and a dvd file as if I had already used quickpar extracted it but I didn't. All the rar files have gone and so have the pars. Not sure if it checked its self or what. I don't remember clicking anything by mistake.

Anyways now theres the iso file and dvd file isit likely the game is fine to burn. I assume its all there otherwise there wouldn't be a iso or dvd file.

Is that a question. Some newsprograms auto repair and extract, then go onto delete the rar files.

But I don't understand what the problem is.

I'm sorry. I've just changed newsprograms so its likely this new one has done it for me. I'm just used to doing it myself and wasn't quite sure what just happend. I guess its fine then.

Thanks

No need to apologise. You've done nothing wrong. At least you have the brains to ask about a newsprogram rather than a torrent program.

Well when I click on a game file set it will come up on news rover and I usually just click queue for download. I noticed two boxes at the bottom are ticked which are decompress rar files and delete rar sections after decompressing not actualy sure what they do even though they say it lol I'm new to all this so I assume I will get the jist in the future.

I can get the games ok but the actual news rover program is a pain to look at and navigate at times. I fine 99% of the icons, features I just don't use. I changed newgroup provider hoping it would have a different download program but it didn't. I used to be on thundernews and now I'm with newsdemon.

I'll just continue with what I'm doing otherwise if I will get lost and confuse myself to much lol.

Yes if you want a larger e-penus then news groups is the way to go *two thumbs up* lol

You can turn it off, very useful when u dl an iso larger than a dvd divided in different compressed files and you want to store it in two dvds ... the first time i had to re-pack and divide a big iso to store it umpf Sad

I know Newsleecher has it built in now. But I just prefer the control I have with dldone.
