As I said before, I've seen pictures of those halo 3 cases that were taken on august 27.
Think about that for a second...
Halo 3 in shops 2 days before it even went gold? yeah sure.
all just empty display cases to wet people's appetites for halo 3.
I have no total proof that it's not the actual game, but just like you are innocent unless there is proof you are guilty, in the game scene, things like these should be assumed to be fake unless there is proof they are real.
plus, with these pictures floating around for a few days now... why only pictures of the cases? if it was the actual game people would post ingame pics of unseen stuff by now.
or at least the disc.

There would be pictures of the disc, instruction manual, all open and together like when Bioshock was leaked. I dont believe a word of it but I really hope im wrong.

It says that the game was already gold before Microsoft/Bungie officially declared it gold.
But this smells fake.. =/
We would see pictures of the content in the box if it was real, content as the 3 discs (2 play + 1 bonus), manual etc..
And I've only seen the Limited Edition display boxes in the stores not the regular/standard Halo 3 box.

I think that It'll be leaked soon, bungie announced 2 days ago that they will ship the retail copy soon.

I don't think they'll give it to any shops more than 2 or 3 days before release after what happened with Halo 2.
But even then it's only about 3 more weeks until it's out. That's not too bad, we're almost there!

The disc looks pretty genuine to me but the dvd case looks like its floating in the air or something! Doesnt look like he is holding it at all!
