Very quick question i hope someone can answer - where is a reliable,cheapish place to get pre-modded 360's in the U.K ? I do realise this question has been asked in various other threads, but time has moved on since then and people have more experience of the rip off merchants VS the good guys.. its a crimbo pressie for my son so its gotta be reliable with preferably a good backup service.. thanks for any advice.. I nearly forgot someone told me the ones in the shops atm are impossible to update, is this true? or are they talking about the modle that will hit the shops soon? is there any way to tell via the box which vers i am buying? and which should i avoid.. if i do buy from a shop? O.K i said one question but hey it saves opening new threads

couple of years back i knew of a few sites that did them online but cant find them anymore i got mine done at Bolton, dont know if you live around that area or not. Or the Big Computer Fares used to do them EG. Manchester and Birmingham

not on qxl.no. Similar site.... And what is illegal about flashing your DVD drive? To play "backups" ? Unless you get burned DL DVDs with the 360, I don't see the problem.

Unless you get burned DL DVDs with the 360, I don't see the problem.

It's illegal to modify your xbox using reverse engineered firmware which breaks the TOS as well as EULA.

oh well.... on www.qxl.no there are even people selling chip/flash services. Mostly 360 and Wii (wii are more expensive) lol @ http://my.qxl.no/accdb/viewItem.asp?IDI=514605710&catg=1&listingtype=6&listingsort=0&articletype=0 downgrade your PSP Glad I still got a 1.5 with isoloaders, homebew and all the other awesome stuff ^^
