I know the 360 isn't really known for its RPG's yet, but there are a few that look like they might be worth playing.
Blue Dragon: Looks different, its been getting bad reviews though for the lame story....
Eternal Sonata: Seen a couple of the in game battle trailers at gametrailers.com, nice concept, don't really know what its about. Comes out later this month.
Mass Effect: sci fiction first person RPG ????

Blue Dragon is absolutely amazing, probably the best Next-Gen game ever together with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Buy Blue Dragon if you like classic RPG:s, you won´t be disappointed mate.
Lost Oddyssey will be available some time in January, looks great too.

and to my knowledge there is only 2 on the xbox at the moment blue dragon and enchanted arms, i have played them both and looks like to me that the main concentration has gone onto the graphics and not the story.
for me i would rather go for story over graphics. i can play a game with a good story but shit graphics, but not the other way round.
I am just hoping mass effect, eternal sonata and magna carta prove me wrong when they come out.

Started playing RPG's around the time ff7 came out so I have not played the realy old school ones...but I enjoyed the turn based, lv up, magic/summon, ect ect.
blue dragon is more along the line of a dragon quest rpg rather than a final fantasy one IMO
blue dragon you have up to 5 people fighting at once and you get a choice of i think about 8 job classes, so in theory you can make every character the same which spoiled it a little for me as well as the lack of story

Well, the gerne I like the most are RPG's and thats why PS2 was so great for me, on the xbox 360 it all looks a bit dark, but slightly getting better.
Think about it, in winter this year the 360 is 2 years old and so far we got
Oblivion (which I played on the PC)
Enchanted Arms (which isnt really good)
and Blue Dragon (whoch is pretty good, but the story and charas arn't)
luckily Mass Effect and Enternal Sonata will be out soon, so that's 2 more good tiles.

The Last Remnant ( well it's SE so it probably wont be a bad game^^)

Two Worlds (this is out too?, but yeah played it on PC already )

no, FF, DQ, Wild Arms, Suikoden, SMT, Star Ocean... and lots of other series arn't coming to 360 (yet). All the 360 gets is shooter, shooter, shooter.. kinda sad, but that's what ppl want these days
edit: Project Offset looks really cool, did they find a publisher now?
I saw a tech demo, some time ago and at that time they didn't have one :/

Thanks for the updated list of upcoming titles. Guess for now ill cross my fingers and hope Eternal Sonata and Fable two are amazing. Just watched a couple fable 2 vid's looks very promising.... lets hope they don't go the same patch fable 1 went.
Promised so much, and did kinda everything half assed.... No replay value as well (fable 1).
Guess my gaming time will be spent in the World of warcraft and bioshock till then.

Fable was a great game. Sure if you bought into everything Peter Molyneux said prior to the release you were bound to be dissappointed.
But viewed objectively Fable was awesome in many ways.
Gave it another chance and installed Fable: Lost Chapters for PC. Not that bad of a game. Actually enjoying going through it again. I never noticed how much the music/fantasy atmosphere enhances this game. Appreciating it allot more the 2nd time through.

Nope. Thats the exact reason why I didn't buy a 360 in the end too. Also if your desperate enough to call Bioshock a RPG then you need a fucking rpg fix and bad.
