right im just going to go ahead and make this 'bitch' because ill be banned in about... well 20 minutes i guess:
i just made a post because indians piss me off - ive had much interaction with this lot, from tech support, to (as youll see if you read my other post) supermarket purchases, and yeah... they tick me off.
my post was ment as part serious and part over the top amusement at how they are.
but, my post was locked, with a very subtle threat from a moderator that hed think banning me was a good idea.
point is, i sent him an e-mail questioning why he felt it was ok for someone to insult people in this section who arent religious nuts, yet my post about indians was suddenly against forum regulations...
before making my original post, i made sure to check the forum rules... twice.
for those who are unfamiliar with them, i shall now post them:
| Code: | 1. No requests!!! Don't ask where to find stuff. There are no files here and we won't help you find it!
2. Don't PM people asking for warez!
3. Don't post any info about where you get your stuff including applications, sources, links, name of webpages and so on. This includes Torrents, Kazaa etc. You are not allowed to discuss this here!
4. On irc you only can find people to chat with, NO FILES!
5. Search before you ask something. Dupe threads pollute the board.
6. Do not flame other users. Try to treat other users like you want yourself treated.
7. Don't post huge images in threads. Images greater than 1024*768 are not allowed without permission. Exceptions are for ex the screenshot thread. Cosnider using the spoiler tags for larger images. This way the layout wont be messy.
8. Don't ask about when a game, movie or an app will get released on the scene! Such questions lead nowhere and noone will help you with that info here.
9. Don't ask about general release dates. If it concerns games go to www.gamershell.com or the developers site. If it concerns apps visit the fansite or the developer's site.
10. Please post in the proper forums. This way the forums stay clean and it will cause no frustration to other members.
11. Posting nfo's is allowed only when they don't contain a serial. Please remove them before posting. Also please use the Spoiler Tag for the nfo so that the lay-out of the board stays intact.
12. Signature rules. Options:
* Image (max 600x100 pixels, 60kb) - no text
* Image (max 200*50) + Text (max 2 lines)
* Text (max 4 lines)
13. No "Look i am downloading it with 912190mbps"-post they are useless and will be deleted.
14. No advertising. Doing this will restult in a ban.
15. Providing affilate tagged links to products or services is not allowed |
rule 6 is almost close, but not really relivant to this... and besides, if it were, then the other thread would have been locked as well.
anyway, the point is i feel the mod is being a complete and utter hypocrite for allowing one thing but not another, just because of his religious leanings.
now i KNOW a mod doesnt have to follow rules, and they can do whatever they want... its like being a cop, there are no rules, and if theres something you dont like you can do whatever you want about it... as a normal user, of course i think that sucks, thats the point of this thread...
i broke no forum rule, and furthermore, because of the other thread i took that as reinforcement that my other thread was acceptable... this kind of action, blocking one thing because you dislike it, but allowing another because you AGREE with it... shit.. havent americans attacked other countries because they thought like the mod that locked my other post?
if... yeah, i know its not, but IF this forum were fair, then it should amend the rules and take an even handed approach.
seriously, using this shit doesnt bother me... ive read that post bashing people who arent religious nutters, and i can take a joke and laugh at how idiotic it is, but i just hate double standards, especially from biased moderators, who 'in theory' are ment to enforce rules, rather than block and censor one person, but allow another simply because they agree with one view but not another.
Doesnt this kind of attitude from one in 'power' bother ANYONE else?
i guess my 20 minutes is just about up, so cya when/if the ban gets lifted

well i think many need to remember what racism is , if you hate them for bad tech support , then thats your free choice , i dont think he posted how he hates indians cause of their race or skin color or religion whatever , even if its untrue i still believe you can vioce your opinion over a group of people .

If I can weight in on the other thread, I have had plenty of dumb white bitches check me out at a supermarket. I also had a horrendous call to Expedia.com tech support the other night where I talked with this fucking retarded bitch (sounded ~30-40 and white) for a fucking hour trying to explain a simple fucking concept to her that she could never grasp.
So yes, saying 'I hate Indians' because you happen to have a bad experience at the market is racism. As for the tech support, why not blame the corporations farming this out to the lowest bidder?

Seriously the pm you sent me was way to cocky to even read. If you come to me and just ask in a normal tone why i did it i may see that i made a fault. (wich i didnt i locked that thread because i know it would end in a flame fest) So i actually dont care about your blabla.
