Does anyone know if these cracks are true cracks or unprotected exes released by a starforce developer? Because it's kinda strange. Also check the nerva crack for Spellforce 2. Also, they aren't scene releases, are they ?

Like, Fakir said, nerva is the nickname of a starforce developer.

Not so easy. They cracked SecuRom as usual. Securom_free exe fully fit the russian version. No need to waste time for SF.

I tried it with DT normal and pro but I get the message:

"you try to use a emulation software, please disable emulation software and put the real disc"

Its just blacklisted so a new version of daemontools wil fix the job Wink

Last blacklist Securom
Last blacklist Starforce (4.7.10.0 and over)

No we have the advanced version.

But I don't feel poor or cheated. I paid 17 euros and have lifetime updates, now it cost 27 euros for one year.

I don't understand how you can call a program they have worked so long on a scam. If you don't use the funktion to build an image, or the vIDE drives then maybe the program is not for you. But a scam is something totaly else.

I heard that you can bypass SF 4.7.10.0 with a .MD0 file and mount it with DT 4.09

There's already a new Exodus from the Earth clone with a .MD0 file in it.

Heh. You'v forgot about antiemulator tricks. Make good image is not enought, neet to hide emulator or burned media from protection.

Having bioshock discussion as a background important to mention that friend of mine from Prague bought "You are empty" game Czech version (publisher Cenega Cz) defenately with mysterious Starforce "backup" technology. He says that his disc lies on the shelf while he runs game from hdd without any emulators. He mentioned some internet activation process. But the most interesting thing that it allows to run game from image or copy.

So it seems that activation becomes popular among puplishers and lets hope that this trend will continue. I may like everything but the emulators/drivers/discs.

Btw i'v never met such solutions even in Russia - the motherland of Starforce.
