Even better is when you buy a game and everyone else is still sopping wet from bawling cause they can't find a downloadable copy

Midway used to use StarFarce didn't it? I wouldn't be surprised if they use the Securom Activation scheme as well.

tell you what: if most of the games that should be out in the next 3 monts (there are at least 6 fps games and at lease 3-4 action games+others) will come with no deleys and no shit at the right time-i'll be very very happy:D and it will make up for all this shity year.
p.s can't remeber bad year like 2007 for pc games scene, since i meet the filesharing scene way bacck at 2001-2002 (kaza and edonkey days:)

We had something called "99" in here back then when it came to dial up. You basically paid 99₪ (NIS), and you could download as much as you want, be connected for as long as you want. It was pretty neat, and was a lot cheaper than paying on a per-hour basis.

Well, even Midway won't talk about Stranglehold, so you expect us to talk only about it?

What is there NOT to know about the game? They have been pretty heavy on promoting this game and talking about it. If you read all reports and interviews, not much is left to your imagination or for surprise.

Oh cmon. Don't you sit at the toilet wishing you had a game manual to read? Only reason I enjoyed buying console games was for shitting material. Your not curious what's held within the stiff pages of Strangleholds manual? The looks of the CD. The case. The box and what's on the back bottom top left and right sides? What annoying promotion flyers are included?

Stranglehold 360 Goes Gold
PC version due for September 18th release; demo MIA:
Midway Games, Inc. today announced that Stranglehold has gone to gold master for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system. Developed by the team behind the critically acclaimed Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, Stranglehold is currently scheduled to ship in North America on September 5th for Xbox 360, September 18th for PC and September 25th for PS3. Additionally, Stranglehold is currently slated to ship in Europe on September 14th for Xbox 360, September 21st for PC and October for PS3.
A collaboration with world renowned action film director John Woo's Tiger Hill Entertainment, Stranglehold allows players to experience the excitement of true next-gen action as you take on the role of Inspector Tequila created by John Woo for his influential action film, "Hard Boiled" starring Chow Yun-Fat. Ensnared by a crime boss with a gripping secret, Inspector Tequila is forced to cross the line from sworn duty to renegade cop. Engage your enemies with intense cinematic gun battles and cause massive environmental damage in real-time or revolutionary slow-motion Tequila Time.

Since it's only 6-8 hours of gameplay, it's the pirate way for me.
