unfortunately dx10 in this game was completely pointless. The soft edges were the only real benefit of it. I'm sure they could have done a whole lot more with it like crysis is doing but with that, it's nice to see that DX9 is still capable of a whole hell of a lot which is my main reasoning of not caring about it. There hasn't been a sufficient reason to use it yet.

I think it's UE3's fault. If the engine doesn't support use of the really neat DX10 stuff, it would have been too hard for 2K Australia to incorporate it, however modified the engine is.

that 2600xt is looking really nice .... only 100 bucks also .... might get it till the next generation of cards is out instead of a 1950pro

 I guess they added the DX10 game to make noobs buy it. No special version, same great one with the patch. |
